Monday and Tuesday are the two days least likely to run 5/10. It is running today and should run tomorrow and throughout the weekend. I'd say in general I'd put money on 5/10 not running on Monday/Tuesday but would put money on it running any other day of the week. It always runs Friday/Saturday and mostly runs on Thursday.

They have recently added USB ports to some tables for charging phones - might be all tables now.

I've got a rooted Note 2 and it indicated it was being charged at 1.7a... 0.5a is typical slow non iPad capable but I think 1.7a should also charge an iPad.

I believe those USB ports are on all the tables. I checked some tables that are at the very end (tables only used when room is full) and those tables had them so I assume they all have them. Just feel around under the table and you should locate them.

Not sure that they will listen, but if enough players voice concerns we might be able to get some improvements. I tweeted winstar and maria ho asking for changes to the river. I asked for gty prize pool not gty 1st place, and add a day to the main event so that they don't have to play down to 10% on day 1s. I think these changes will benefit most players. We should all speak up in person or digitally if we feel something should change! Long story short please follow my lead if you agree.

The 10% is preferred by the rec players and also increases the number of players who fire multiple bullets which helps them increase prize pool.

I completely disagree. This is there biggest event of the year and is. $2500 buyin. They should be worried about quality not appeasing rec players. This tourny has the one of the worst structures of any major tournament. The WPT choctaw in July will not have this bogus 10% deal and will still get a ton of players.

Well I disagree with your disagreement LOL. Part of what makes this tournament so good is that the field is soft. Part of making sure the field is soft is appeasing recreational players. The structure also isn't bad, it gives players what they generally say they want which is getting to the money pretty quickly and then giving more play once the money is reached. When I won (so thin), the average stack at the end of day one was about 30 bigs but by the final table it never dipped below 50. It is also different then the WPT because WPT as a name will draw a certain player base anyway. Also it only has two day ones as compared to three at Winstar. I can tell you people are going to be pissed to make it through on Thursday then have to wait and come back on Sunday and not even cash. That goes for recreational's as well as professionals who would love to fire on Friday and Saturday if they know they aren't going to cash on the bullet they fired on Thursday.

Well regardless, even if they don't change the day 1 thing they can at least fix the gty 1st place fiasco. I think we can all agree that this is stupid and gtying prize pool is better for everyone. 1st place $1mill and 2nd place $300k is absurd.

It's march, next month is April (when they said they would release details), and the month after that is May (when the tourney series is). I can explain further if needed.

Anyone know how turnout for Sunday tourbament has been lately?

The 5/10 nlhe was running with a $5 ante in both the main and the must move. Amazing high action game. I was told it has been running like that for about a month.

I was wondering what the ante was. wow $5? that's insane, what's everyone buying in for?

Last week it was $1k min but that was really a choice by the players. Unless something changed this week my understanding is that it's still officially a $500-$2k game just like regular 5/10. It seems the floor and many of the players don't understand that this game play much bigger than regular 5/10.

The 5/10 with the $5 ante started a few months ago and has run on and off since then. It has run the past few weekends. Sometimes regular 5/10 runs at the same time and sometimes just the ante game runs.

What was beautiful about the 5/10 $5 ante game was the standard opening raise was running about $50 and sometimes up to $80 but not higher than than. Very playable with a 1k stack but a lot of people were sitting very deep. Lots of action. None of the nits from the standard 5/10 game. I can't wait to get back.

I played limit for the first time in a very long time. I was in Biloxi and the only thing the Nugget was dealing was 4/8 limit with a 1/2 ante. It seemed like a pretty soft game.

Winstar is closer for me. What's the 4/8 game like at the Winstar?

i don't really know what it's like, but it's definitely running every day. I'd imagine it's pretty similar to watching paint dry. I love limit poker. I sure wish we could get a bigger game going at Winstar, maybe lure some of the 20/40 guys over from Horseshoe.

Played this game maybe 5 times waiting for a seat when I was bored always real loose but it's 4/8 I couldn't handle playing it more than 30 minutes
