You can never tell with Winstar, but I've seen 15-30 LHE go at least once, and I know there are a few people that would get on board with 20-40 limit. There are a few ladies that play the PLO/PLO8 game that like higher limit games. Start the list, and hope the floors/brushes are feeling into it.

Alright, I might just try 15-30 as a happy medium, plus 20/40 is in the realm of taking a shot as far as my BR is concerned.

Also, once you start the interest list, hit the LHE tables, the PLO tables, and the 5-10+ tables and mention that there's a list. That will definitely get you some sign-ups.

Not much LHE going on at Winstar. Mainly just 4/8. I'd be shocked if you get anything that big running. Good luck.

Does anyone know if they have the Shoot to Win craps machine made by Aruze at Winstar? I've heard it's considered a slot so thought there was a chance since they can't have actual craps there.

Just played it this weekend in Shreveport and it was a lot of fun because you could play smaller than at most live craps tables.

Spent last couple of days up there. My travel buddy is big into limit Omaha which used to run fairly regularly. Not even a list in 2 days from what I saw.

Just got back from 3 days playing at Winstar. Very nice tourney structures including the bounty turbo and very competent dealers.

In the bounty tournament the $100 bounty was actually just a $100 cash game chip. This is clearly a terrible idea and everyone complained multiple times about it. At least 5 different people just at my table accidentally put the chip in the pot. The floor / dealers were good about it though and let it slide. However I heard some stories about players getting screwed from it. Plus it opens up various angle shooting methods. I've played a few bounty tourneys at other casinos which had a special white chip which made it very easy.

what do people expect the NL cash action to be like during the upcoming series in August?

Its usually crazy. Long lists for every game on the weekends.

2/5 up is normally great at NL but 2/5 is capped at 100bbs

Played here today/night. Actually pleasantly surprised at how well the room was run, and I tend to be very critical. The 2/5 action was great, 3 games running at one point. Having chip runners was a huge plus to the room, which many rooms do not have.

Only negative was what seemed like a room regular acting extremely childish and taunting other players. I wish the dealers had spoken up instead of me having to do it, but if they're a regular I can understand not wanting to bite the hand that feeds, etc...

I will definitely be back if my schedule permits it.
