No, is the mix PLO game still running on weekends

Mix PLO plays all weekend. Typically 1 main table with a must move. Must move builds and dies pretty dramatically because none of the old nits want to play short handed.

Anyone know about how many players winstar averages for their weekly Thursday tournaments?? Thinking about going next Thursday.

Not sure on the average for Thursday tournaments.

But 5/23 is Event 3 & 4 of the Memorial Day Mini-River series. Event 3 is a $120 buy-in at 1 and Event 4 is $450 PLO at noon.

Highly doubt that standard tourneys will be running during Mini-River.

My bad I guess the Thursday after...seeing if it was worth it

I booked a hotel in Gainesville, TX this weekend to come over and play some at the WinStar. However, with all the storms, I want to make sure that the hotel overflow is not spilling that far south.

I couldn't image that it would be, as I am sure there are plenty of hotels in the OKC area and tornadoes don't displace as many people as hurricanes. But I just wanted to make sure.

are things like deal-making, chopping, and RiT allowed at Winstar?

No running it twice. You can make deals in tournaments, and you can chop the blinds in cash games but aside from that deal making isn't really allowed (they tend to be more flexible on this sort of thing in 5/10 and higher games..for instance, I saw 2 guys bet $5k a hand blind at 5/10 for three consecutive hands even though $5k is above the max buy in and neither had previously had $5k at the table).

On bravo right now there's a list for 1/2 round of each and 1/2 mixed PLO/plo8 anybody there know if that's half holdem half high? And 1/2 or 1/2/5

during your normal weekday what is the highest game of NLHE running? What about on the weekend and what are the max buy ins?

5/10 is running most days with a max buy in of $2k. 10/25 (or 10/20) can run on the weekend (max buy-in of $10k) but it doesn't run every weekend. For instance, last weekend there were five 5/10 tables running but the 10/25 game didn't get going and there were only like 3 names on the list simply because most of the regulars that are interested in playing that high weren't at the casino.

I was there tonight (btw if any 2p2ers were playing the PLO mix game I was the late 20s guy in a polo and jeans) and the PLO/PLO8b mix is just that, a 1/2 with 5 min to enter and 10 straddle. It plays pretty big and very deep at times (main table had what appeared to be a nearly $3k pot but I couldn't see it from the must-move table, just heard the chatter). It was fairly splashy PF with plenty of straddles and pot-raises. The must-move table was always good, the main table was full of old nittier players who all seemed to know each other. Frankly didn't feel comfortable at that table, so racked up, grabbed some food, and got back on the must-move for the remainder of my session.

The half/half is half PLO half Texas Hold'em, but I think that's more a table decision than anything, they're not actually trying to start that game.

Lo8 runs on weekends sometimes Thursday but mostly 4/8 occasional 10/20

Choctaw was running one 2/5NL game Saturday before last, should be juicy around tourney times. The table filled up after 2pm.

Hopefully I can make it up there tomorrow. Curious about 1/2NL on Sundays there.
