Maybe it's just my imagination. You'd think with the high ceiling that the smoke would quickly drift upwards, but instead it seems to just stay at a 5-6 foot high level of fog. I wish they'd take advantage of the old steel mill piping to pump the smoke up and out haha
I counted 14 tables. Since the area is still under construction, I suppose it's possible that number will change. I look forward to the room opening soon! Hopefully Samo is correct in his post that it opens the first week of October!

Yeah, 14 for now until they move it into the old burger place. I remember back in the day when they moved the 5/10 from the back of the original room near the bar to the front because players would complain about the smoke, and it wasn't even in a smoking section. I don't really hate the smoke per say, but I do remember coming home after only walking through the smoking section and my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke.
I don't know why they decided to put the room on the smoking side instead of the non smoking side. Does that mean smoking is gonna be allowed in the "poker room"? If not, what's the point - it's on the smoking side of the casino. I see a lot of the former regs in other rooms, mostly Parx, and I think they need to make a good first impression in order to get all the players back that they lost but putting the room in a smoking section doesn't help their cause too much.
