Thanks!
Re-entry for 7 levels. You can play multiple days if you like. Best stack moves forward.

Expecting 90-100 runners on day two. Should be final table around 10pm based on a previous event.

Showing up at 1030 for this tournament (especially saturday) and if your lucky you will be placed on the tournament waiting list.

I suggest arriving as early as possible.

You have to register in person.
You can choose what day although I'm not sure if you can register multiple days in advance (like if you can register for Saturday's flight on Thursday)

Saturday's flight will be a lot busier than Thursday Friday.
Everyone likes to show up around 11am so get there well before if you don't want to wait in line.
Yes in person registration.
You can play any day you prefer.
registration opens 24 hours before each flight.
1030 is always great rule of thumb, I agree there if you register day of.

Best of luck

They will prolly run it like the B does with a run it twice button in dealers tray if players decide they would like to do this. Gonna be a good time...
That is awsome!!! doing business is def +EV. Are they going to be using the same tables, or are they ordering new ones with the plugs already in it?

Should get new tables without the giant wooden blocks underneath, kill two birds with one stone

I don't know about you guys but I'm excited that all the nit balls will be able to keep their tablets fully charged. Wouldn't want them to miss an episode of GOT.

I don't get it either. You can buy portable rechargers now for $20 and why do you need Wi-Fi in the poker room - aren't you there to play poker?

Other funny thing about that is i causally browse the Internet on my phone while bored (like a lot of people do) and I have never once used up enough data on 4g to need to use wifi. So to me, seems like the only point to wifi is if you want to watch videos, game online, or browse the Internet 9 hours a day and burn up all your service.

wi-fi is actually easier on your battery than using 4G.

That's interesting I actually didn't know that. Is it significant?

I have a 6 plus which never seems to run out of batteries so perhaps I am ignorant to the plight.

More juice is used sending the 4G/3G/2G signal out to a cell tower - and getting it back - than is used to get to a wifi access point which is usually very very close. Not to mention that your phone will bounce the signal around various towers to find a good connection.

although this may be the case, I can assure you battery life was not why they were begging for wifi it's because they don't want to have to pay for extra gigabytes when they could be getting it for free (or so they can use their tablets that don't even have a wireless plan).

I can tell you that when I stay at the hotel, they have the fastest wifi I have ever used on a laptop which I can't even reproduce at home using the fastest router and service. I hope it will be part of that same network.

On another note how have wait lists been on Friday nights? If I get there at say 930, what am i looking at for 2/5 and 5/10? I know they were really bad for awhile when they reduced the size of the room.

Anywhere from no list to 5 to 10 names for both

Thinkin of playing in the 100k.. what time should I get there for a Saturday flight? It starts at 11am. Also, is it possible to register online, ahead of time?

This ^^^^^ and this ^

Started going in the last month, maybe 4 or 5 times. If you get a seat near those columns it hurts your legs. Makes you permanently contract which tightens up the muscles (which is horrible for my legs) but then it makes your body tighten up as well. Would truly make a world of difference if I could sit comfortably (or relatively comfortably) at the table.
I sure as heck could play longer.

Ran into Davey today. Just wanted to report that he couldn't be handling the situation better now and I apologize for jumping the gun in some sense. He really does a good job running the room which was why I was upset in the first place but not im happier about my incident and hope people continue to play at sands.

Can someone explain how the double green bounty works? It's a $200 buy in with a $50 bounty. I assume the bounty chips come off the table at some point otherwise the person who wins the tournament would win 1st place money and every single bounty chip.
Quote
08-07-2015 , 08:40 PM
if you knock someone out, you get their bountie chips (two green = 50 dollars) and you keep the chips separate. For each player you knock out, you get their bounties.

They are kept separate from the regular tournament chips. So if you knock someone out but lose the tournament, you only lost 150. Bountie chips are regular casino chips so you can cash them in at the end.

the green chips have to be visible at all times so dont put them in your pocket or that is grounds for disqualification.

So if I knock 4 people out, and then I bust, I give my $50 bounty chips to the person who knocked me out but I break even.
Quote
08-07-2015 , 08:46 PM
yes you only lose one bounty
