I usually go down to AC for ****s and giggles and oh yeah some poker. This place is a little closer however. Is it worth checking out and going down midweek to this place instead? Room rates aren't that bad. How are the tournament tournouts? Are the games wortht the effort? I could read the whole thread but thought somone might just give me the 411.

it's $99 but you have to enter your card number on the website then reserve it thru there.

Damn... thanks for the heads up. I was out there a couple months ago but didnt get a card created, because I just played poker. I guess I will just pay the 149 and get a card made this time.

You used to be able to sign up for a MySands card right on the website (www.pasands.com) and then just pick it up upon your arrival at the MySands desk across from Emeril's Chop House... but I'm not sure if they still do that.

And even if they do I'm not sure if you can get the Poker Rate for the hotel before you're rated.

Anyone else see on the BRAVO app under room promotions? It says "Oct. is Omaha appreciation month. All omaha games will have a $3 max rake including pot limit omaha and omaha eight or better" Awesome news both for reduced rake to promote the game as well as PLO will be spreading in less than ten days. Great idea from casino and hopefully it opens up some much needed other games than the usual NLHE sea of monotony.

My 2-5 table with 4 players including me broke like 30 minutes before the BBJ hit. One of us (not me) got transferred to the table where it hit.

I think I was on that table last night. Was that table 13? I left about 10 p.m. just after two other players did.

I'm not sure I want to know the answer, but do you remember how long b4 you posted that this hit?

I got up from there right around 10pm. Although not likely, I can't even rule out the possibilty that it hit on my last hand, folded preflop and got up b4 hand ended.

What would happen in this case? Would you be out of luck? they could track you down if you were checked in.
