A long overdue trip report, as requested.

I went out to play at Wind Creek on Saturday, 10/23. Called in from the road and got put on the lists for 1-3 PLO and 2-5/5-10 NL. Arrived around 2:30 and was next to get called to the PLO, so I waited for and took that seat. Bought in for $400 and stacks looked to range from $150 - $1200. The game was generally good action, though very limpy preflop. I was pleasantly surprised by the dealers, as every one had a pretty solid handle on knowing the size of the pot(s), even during multi-way all-ins. I played for about six hours and there wasn’t much turnover of players for the first few hours, but by the time I left only a few players remained from when I had sat into the game. Overall a positive experience, and I will get back out there when I can. Happy to answer any questions.

I ate dinner with my wife at Emeril’s Chop House. Very good meal, and met my expectations for a steakhouse. Would recommend if you want something nice.

Anyone here this weekend? I’ll be there tomorrow playing PLO if it’s running.

Room was packed on Friday, hopefully the same today and Sunday. Waitlists were dozens long, so call in a couple of hours before.

I'll be there again today, I'm sure Omaha will be running.

From Westchester, NY - anyone around the area that makes regular trips to Wind Creek (or Parx, Foxwoods, Resorts Catskills, Borgata, etc) & have an extra seat in your car please feel free to PM me. Will pitch in for gas & such.

To be honest I don't even think they have a clue whatsoever. Originally they said January, then March (tomorrow's March) but they haven't even started to tear out the old restaurant yet where they said it was going.

The best thing they should do is put it right back in the old room. I played my free plays in there last night, all they have in there are regular penny slots spread out, our podiums are still there, all out TV's are still in there and it's already wired in the floor for the tables. They should put it back in there and put those slots where the poker tables are now. It doesn't take a genius to think of these things.

Good to know thanks.

And to piggyback off your previous post, I totally agree that they should move the poker tables back to the original poker room instead of building an entirely new one. The space is perfect for poker.

Is the 1/3 plo raked or timed?

Really miss the old Transbridge Bus schedule from NYC

Now it's a shell of what it used to be with very few busses running. I am guessing the casino management would need to step in and perhaps inject some money into TB to get it restarted to the level it was

There's 2 players in 2/5 that do it almost every day, they get in around 12:15 and leave around 5:30.

A new $2 million poker room at Wind Creek Casino will have 6 additional tables and a satellite cage. (Target date: Nov. 2022.)

Their worst upgrade ever was the jackpot lighting. That's what held up the new room too.

That’s good news. Wind Creek Bethlehem is one of my favorite spots to play poker(I play low limit NL cash games up to 2/5 NL).

Is there a reason why this place runs both a 5/5 NLH and a 2/5 NLH? Same buyin cap of 1k, only difference besides SB is that the 5/5 is time raked at $6/half hour and the 2/5 is raked. 5/5 is way better value from a rake perspective I'd have to think.

They're waiting on approval for getting the max buy in limit raised. And yeah it depends on who's in the game, the problem I'm finding is when the 5/5 goes off early, not a lot of people know about it so they're all going on the 2/5 list, then the 5/5 gets short/breaks. It's only been around for a few weeks, mainly on weekends.

Ah interesting, thanks for the color. How high are they trying to raise the max buy in?

I played the 5/5 yesterday and the game was meh other than one clear spot at the table.
