There's one bounty per month which is 300 + 100, gets about 60, the other ones get about 80 to 100+ and of course the numbers vary. I don't play tournaments but the ones who do said the field is very soft.

I heard new chips by Oct, and one year to return old chips (don't quote me on that - if you have old chips call the cage for an accurate answer).

Haven't heard about the felts, but I would imagine it will also take some time since they just spent $1.3 Billion dollars on the purchase.

amazing how people worry about the chips and the felt more than the really important issues, such as are they still connected to the sands grazie acct or finally have new cards totally unconnected to the sands.

TBC, I agree. The cosmetics and logos really don't matter. Are you planning to come out this way and check out the room?

Talk about silly reasons to get your panties in a bunch. It's not like I don't care about other issues, too.

New chips in August a floorr told me yesterday. Floor said everything is messed up and the room is not run right, nobody is happy... Quite sad, use to be a good poker room.

I am still waiting for the new, exciting promos promise on Bravo coming this summer. Instead, they still have the old, stale ones that do nothing for the room.

Lets hope Windcreek brings in someone to try and manage and salvage the room, before the current manager totally berries it. I keep trying to come back and get frustrated every time I do.

What frustrates you about the room? I don't think it's run particularly well but can't beat the convenience

wtf are you talking about? I'm going to call out your BS.

I know all the supervisors and know no one that thinks "everything is messed up". They run high hand promo's 6 days a week.

awww poor guy

if you don't like the room, don't go there, but you shouldn't make up stories about these fake disclosures from "a floor".

You can call BS all you want, but the point is it is fact. I've been coming here since it opened. So many regulars have moved on cause they see where the room has been headed. Both floors and dealers do nothing but complain about the place now and how they are unhappy. Tired of the favoritism and nothing being done right to try and improve the room. You can tell yourself nobody thinks its messed up, but that is a flat out lie.

Their high hand promotions suck. They don't fill the room like Parx and Sugarhouse. And they do anything to try and improve it. I use to play exclusively at Sands, but not anymore. The new room is a disaster. Just walking in and out, having the smoke hit you in the face is disgusting enough.

I can go on and on, but I am not gonna waste my breath. Its just sad to see what was once a quality place to place, turning into Mt. Airy.

Based on revenue numbers the trend is down, not sure why this is. Forget when they moved the room.

Looks like that coincides with the opening of the new poker room...

All table games, including the poker room, will be closed during the day on Tuesday August 20th to change out the chips. There's no definite time when they will re-open in the evening.

I'm guessing it takes another month to get new tournament chips? Or, does anyone know why tournaments are suspended until September 16th???

Bravo says Poker will reopen at 8pm.

It is to switch to the new chips, because it takes over a month to switch out tournament chips.

Spoke to a floor today who told me they will soon be limiting drinks to two per hour. I don't mean alcoholic drinks either, I mean water, coffee, soda... Two per hour because this is how a new casino will instantly leave a bitter taste in the mouths of its customers.

I was hoping for changes w/the new ownership and if this is a sign they are coming and they are not good. I was hoping for improvements to the worse run poker room. Like not slowing down games because of dealers counting their wells over and over and dealers getting chips which I have not seen any other casino other then this one. If you can't have a cage why not at least a cart? Would certainly speed things up and keep games running.

Not only is the poker room in trouble, but if the first change is a sign of things to come then watch out.

Either way, I'll be there later today!

Hi everyone, I’m going to play poker on Friday, and am deciding between Wind Creek and Parx. I’ll be playing 2/5 NL. How do the two rooms compare? Wind Creek is marginally closer to me, so if it’s a tie I’m going to Bethlehem

There will be many more 2/5 tables at Parx, easily.

funny thing is, most casinos are doing the opposite. (instead of limiting the number of non alcoholic drinks, they have self serve stations throughout the casino where u can get your own coffee, soda, water, etc) certainly all of reno, the midwest, along with ohio and michigan too.

“Wind Creek” sounds like an upscale public golf course.
