Would love if some of u can read my story and help me in my current situation.

I am a 22 year old exchange student from Germany. I am right now in Hong Kong. They have now announced that the university will cancel all remaining classes this semester and instead hold online classes and exams.

Since my flight back is not before January 1st 2020 I now have about 6 weeks time to travel to any spot I like in Asia. I always wanted to test how it is to play poker CG full-time and this might be THE opportunity for me to test the waters.

So now im looking for advice where to go. Anybody can tell me where the best spots for Cashgame 1/2 or 1/3 (preferably) are here ? Macau is for example way too high stakes for me in my current situation.

It has to be cheap and safe place to live and good action with beatable rake at real casinos. I am not looking for underground games.

Manila sounds like it would suit you best. Everything is cheap here, 80% of people in the city speak English and there is plenty of 50/100 NL and 100/200 action (1/2, 2/4 equivalent). I recommend resorts world-there’s always plenty of games going on.

Someone else can speak to how hard it is to obtain a 6 month visa but I don’t think it’s too bad, thankfully I’m a dual citizen so I don’t have to worry about that.
