Could be a bit of a disaster if that BBJ remains for MSPT weekend. Non-tournament players also trying to jump on the cast list to "get lucky". Going to stretch the floor even thinner.

Yes .. If BBJ hits at 11:00 PM Friday or Saturday this week it could be 3-4 hours before everyone is paid out ... $240 bucks room share each? $130K at 20% with 12 tables (108 ppl) running 'next' to the BBJ table ... That's a lot of 'high hands' being paid out at one time.

BBJ is 40% 'loser', 20% 'winner', 20% table, 20% room ... GL

Woody's is closed this week with no charity yet for next week. They are looking into why nothing shows next week.

Crazy cash action at King's Friday afternoon and evening. You know when one of the area's tightest player's is in for 4 buy-ins and leaves up $60 bucks that the game was worth sticking around for!!

The Holland room saga is still working through the 'location' issues with the state. I'm assuming that any resolution will be found with a 'quick' start up.

Actually played at Lincoln Friday night for about an hour after King's went into 'tournament cash' mode. One table 7-8 handed, decent game but I had to leave so not sure how late it ran.

No word on how the Westgate Wednesday is working out ... GL

Not much poker this month ... lots to do before Vegas, baby!!

Casey Carroll and Tom Medina are doing well in the $1K PLO at WSOP. Day 2 today with Casey holding a HUGE lead over 2nd place ... but it's PLO, so things change!

Hopefully they can both FT this one .. too bad you need to pay for PokerGo App to watch them ... unless someone is also streaming on Twitch.TV when you can catch it. GL

Rumor has it that Woody's is going to be closing down. Can anyone confirm?

I just love my diary ... except I keep it in a public place.

FKeepers BBJ hit on Sunday ($145K) but the new one is 'already' $69K so that room should still stay busy as that is about $20K above where it normally hits. The MCC BBJ is above $500K I think ... quads over quads for the full amount there.

Played some 5-10 in Hammond .. loved it. Feeder table was great but there were some tough cookies at the main game. Interesting story about a pot that was being pushed to the wrong player and what followed .. I have a separate thread for that one. It's basically a BBeat story but ...

Rumors of a new room in GR have popped up .. more to come.

Woodys is running only a day game now. I believe it starts at 1100 AM. It may change in the Fall, may not.

A few stories from Vegas about locals cashing .. lots of folks 'not' playing in WSOP events in lieu of the 1-day tournaments at other casinos. Headed there in 2 weeks myself but I doubt I will play any tournaments unless wife gets bored with me later in the week! GL

Confirmed .. even though they have charities booked through July on the 'Party' web site they are going to suspend operations until further notice (Fall).

This just means even more 'mad house' at the PM sites during the week. GL

It also appears there is no Thursday night at Lincoln either. Not sure if that is how it has been or not.

So Thursday is King's Room only .. and for a lot of the GR poker world that means it's King's Room only for awhile. GL

Wow, with one room open and that room having limited parking, Thursday must be a rugby scrum over there.

Haven't really scoured the reports, but there were a few 'bags' in the WSOP ME from WM players. There were a couple of unfamiliar names on the list from Day 1A ... and I thought I knew 'everyone'!

Good trip for me out there last week. It was more of a vacation with the wife than a poker trip but I did get in about 15 hours of poker at 4 different venues. Not ideal for grinding, but we filled our days with the entertainment side of Vegas most of the week. We really filled our days with what Vegas can offer away from the tables, ending up with a Jay Leno show Friday night.

Highlight of the 'poker' week was getting into Dnegs YouTube poker Vlog on Day 36 while railing the $50K PPC.

I did post a more specific trip report in the Detroit thread. GL

FK 5th Sunday $400 starting time has moved up to 1000 AM. Registration is already open and they will be starting with 26 tables, same as last one. No change in structure.

Played Kings Sunday night .. ran out of chips with 3 strong tables going and then it fell apart as normal.

Eastbrook had 2 tables fairly quick on Monday.

Some talk that Westgate was 'hoppin last week after they opened back up from their 2 week holiday shut down.

Not much talk about Woody's being closed for the Summer. See how things look once everyone is through July and over the WSOP blues!! GL

I think we've been asking that question for a year or more. Always a rumor which usually turns into nothing.

Last news on the Holland poker room was that the site was having issues getting approved due to liquor license issues, not the Supplier (assumed to be the Woody's folks). I'm not sure what those would've been or how long it takes to get through that process.

In the mean time the charities that were lined up may have moved on. I've seen multiple charities show up at King's that were once at other locations. I'm not sure if there's a shortage of charities or if they are just chasing the biggest dollar.

There have been multiple issues at Eastbrook since the Floor left there ... I've seen a couple and heard about more. So if you go play there just pay attention to what's going on so you can nip anything quickly that may affect your stack. GL

FK 400 had another record turnout. I don't think any GR players did super well. I think I spotted BWebb at least min-cashing. He also had a decent stack on Day 2 of the WSOP ME as well. Check out the FK or Detroit thread for more of 'my' details.

Not much to add on the local front today. Eastbrook is the only charity game in town on Monday and Tuesday. GL

Pretty quiet in here ... I guess it's only been 2 weeks ...

1) Played session at Westgate last Thursday. Didn't start right away but they got 2 tables going and I think they still had a list when I left with a win!! (Been awhile for that there.)

2) Great weekend at Motor City Casino ... I personally don't think that the room is as stressed out over the $700k BBJ as some are making it out to be but I can understand the perception .. and the natural poker players tendency for overreaction to a situation. Yes, the lists are long, but they are almost 50% call-ins most of the time. I jumped over about 17 people on Friday to sit at 2-5 and both 1-2 and 2-5 had players sitting down every 2-5 minutes. Which for a room that size/busy should be the normal. I think they could do better with the table changes since 'no one' wants to play in the outer area which has even more tables 'for now'. Another interesting time is the feeding frenzy when they bring out fresh food. Some players wont leave their table until they play their BB so they still get a table share of the BBJ if it hits when they are away, but then they don't get any ribs!! GL

Good showing at King's during the day on Thursday. Had 4 tables going by 300 with plenty of chips to get to the break.

Lots of tournament possibilities right now at the HPT at AmeriStar and Toledo has something going on as well. Don't forget that MSPT will be at FK in October. They have their Wednesday give away right now and sattys should start pretty soon. The Saturday 260 satty will replace the normal bounty tournament until through the MSPT ME.

BBJ at Motor City is $727K and FK is $44K if you want to travel a bit. GL

HPT is down at AmeriStar this week ... go win some cash!!

MSPT schedule has slight change with Thursday ME starting at Noon, not 400 as previously. The added a Thursday $250 Turbo Satty to the schedule as well.

Not sure if the ME entries will increase with this, but cash will definitely be more interesting on Thursday night than previously. GL

King's is still running well. Haven't been to Eastbrook in a while.

Actually booked another win at Westgate!

No word on Woody's Fall schedule. They may not want a poker room back in there or perhaps King's will move in and take over M-W?

Motor City Casino BBJ is at 766K ... with the long weekend approaching you may want to slide in there and see what happens ... GL

Pretty sad when this thread 'sneaks' into page 3 of my subscribed listing ...

1) It appears that Woody's will not be a poker location anymore. There was pretty good word that they accepted a proposal to put in an arcade that would take up the 'old' poker space in the building.

2) King's was jammin' pretty good Friday and Sunday, as usual.

3) Motor City Casino BBJ is $835K ... Big number .. go get some ...

4) Haven't played any of the other 3 rooms in quite some time so no report on them. There were Westgate regs at King's Sunday but they are closed and I didn't really discuss how that room was doing with anyone. GL
