Hi folks,

Beginning today, we are testing out a new advertising policy here in the CCP / Venues forum.

Official reps for each Venue can now post anything they want about their rooms, within their room thread only. This includes marketing material, announcements of promos, etc. They are no longer restricted to just answering specific questions posed to them directly (or to buying an advertising designation).

We will still be asking the designated room rep to first verify themselves with Bobo Fett, by emailing him at (bobh -at- twoplustwo.com) from their official casino email address and including their 2+2 username.

We hope this will help bring more room representation here to our forums, allow them to get more exposure to our readers, and also help our readers build relationships with the room representatives and get answers to pressing questions.

Obviously, we hope the signal-to-noise ratio will remain high, and if we find the new policy is leading to undesirable behavior or promotional spam we may adjust the policy.

And to our readers, please treat your room reps with respect. Obviously, players and room reps have differing agendas at times, but no one benefits if we just drive the room reps away with harassment and unending and repetitive questions and axe-grinding. I don't want to have to police this stuff, but I will if it becomes necessary.
