I'm playing there I see the menu everything on it is $10 I got the chicken parm which came with pasta bread a salad and bowl of strawberries anybody that complains about that should grow up and stop being cheap...
I forgot about that....you can order from the pizza joint in the food court and they have many options for only $10 inlcuding subs, pizza, chicken parm, etc...

So, that is definately a good alternative if the In Suite Dining menu isn't to your liking.

Going back out there next month and I can't wait it's gonna be different next time...

I no when I go out there the only place to play is at the v... I don't have to worry about well maybe there's better action at wynn or the b because there not...

I'm trying to figure out if I should pay the poker rate and stay at the v or take the package deal stay at mirage and walk across the street..

I hope the smell is still there when I'm there hahaha...

What is poker rate for 12/10-12/16 or 11/12-11/18 dcarp??

I have been to Vegas a hand full of times in the last couple of years since turning 21, and have played there on a few occasions and really did enjoy the room. Everything positive others have said is bang on.

Just the fact that they appear to be going out of their way to make players at all limits happy really impresses me. Also, now adding a representative like dcarp on these forums has just raised the bar even more.

A+ to you and the V poker room dcarp, you'll be getting most, if not all of my business whenever I'm in town.

Now, back to the food...I did not say the V poker room was "a fine dining establishment", I said the idea is similiar. I don't want to throw any "less desirable" poker rooms under the bus, but wouldn't you expect to pay more at the Venetian as opposed to <insert grungy poker room here>?

I've played at other places and it still costs you $6 for a hot dog (which is half the size of the V hot dog) and it is served on a white plastic plate and you get some fries...maybe a pickle. At least at the Venetian, many meals come with a cup of fresh fruit, a muffin, or some lemon bread. You get a real plate and real silverware.

So, I don't know if we'll ever meet in the middle on this, but I just hope you see my POV.

Dan, You are wasting your time. These are the people that will call a $30 bet with bottom pair, hoping to catch that two outer, then bitch about paying $15 for a sandwich.

No, the Venetian is a high end resort/casino which happens to have a poker room. Food prices at the Venetian are in line with other high end resorts. If you want Subway, then you can go to a lower end place.

First of all, I would never consider it a waste of time. This player has an opinion of the food he received and I was just trying to explain to him why it's more expensive. I have ordered many things off the menu myself and I feel that most items are worth the extra money. There are some things on the menu that I feel are not a good value, but others may think those items are a great value. So, I think it all boils down to a matter of taste.

12/10 - 12/16 would be our regular poker rate since it won't be DSE time, which is $119 weekdays and $159 on Friday and Saturday.

For 11/12 - 11/18 it will be $109,179,199,109,109,109,109...in that order. This would have to booked under the Deep Stack code CP910L1.

Noodle asia has some great stuff, I always eat there whenever I can. After learning their menu I can better choose what's good and what I like.

dcarp/Venetian players, generally speaking if I play cash table for say 5hrs how much $$$ in comps could I expect to get?

Just trying to see if that'll pay for my food there ;-)

Do the $150 noon MTT players get any comps like the cash players at $1/hr?

let me give new players to the room a little trick/short cut to the room... Park valet get out of the car walk to the left keep going over a little bridge or something like that you'll see a big set of doors walk in poker to the left

And dcarp don't worry about the $2 chips it's not a big deal... The 8-16 game was fine with the $4s... I loved the 4-8 with whites so I guess the 8-16 would be the same exept with $2 chips

Thanks for the room rate info.. Can't wait to play there again and any time somebody asks me where they should play in vegas I tell them go to the v and f everywhere else

Does any 2+2ers have any suggestions as to what travel company would offer the best pkg or non stop flights I'm to dumb to find it other then orbits and expedia.... Thanks

No one mentioned Omaha8. Are they trying to get a game? The 10-20 at Wynn is practically extinct so they should try and start that. Or maybe 8-16? Try spreading that with the same promo as the 8-16 limit hold em game and I bet you will get a full game every day. Maybe even 2 tables if you keep the rake low and word gets out to the Orleans players.

I played some 4/8 O8 waiting for PLO a few weeks ago, I think we were the 2nd table. An 8/16 would be great.

Ditto, but I did this in late August. The 4/8 w/ half kill game was really good for the brief time I was at the must move table before getting called for PLO.

I'll be in Vegas Fri Oct 30 - Mond Nov 2 and can't wait to get back to the V.

I'll be playing 2-5 NL, the 1-2-5 bring PLO and O8 if it's running. 4/8 is fine but I'd def prefer to sit 8/16. I usually play at The Borgata in AC and they run a pink chip O8. it's 7.50 - 15 O8. it's a 3-6 chip game with 2.50 pink chips. Lots of fun. 8/16 is right up my alley....

V is a great room and I can't wait to be there....16 days...

Fair point....fair point.

Just for me, maybe they will run a rotation of 2-5 NL, 2-5 PLO and 8/16 O8...should be an interesting mix of chips on the table.

C'mon man...gimme a break. I'ma be in VEGAS in like 15 days...the excitement is building...QUICKLY.
