That and the fact that although they offer meal service at the table which most places don't, the menu isn't that good and it's quite pricey. I had an Italian sandwich that was 17 bucks!
So, no problems at all with the staff but some of the ancillary services may be a bit less than optimal.

mfpaul, there very well may have been an oversight that particular day. Sometimes a table gets forgotten in the servers rotation...it happens (not very often, but it does). If you ever have to wait more than 20-30 mins, please call a floor so we can fix the problem as quickly as possible. I would have given one of my own waters to hold you over while I called the service bar and told them that a table was being neglected. Usually that fixes the problem in just a few minutes.
As far as the price of the food, don't forget that you are also paying for delivery, service, and ambiance. It's
similiar to eating at a fine dining establishment, you pay a little extra, but, then again, your not eating at McDonald's. Having said that, though, just like with the wait service issue you experienced, if you are upset with your food or service, please tell the floor and we will try to make it right.

No, this is $25 if you play
1 hour of $8/16, $15/30, or $30/60. This is for first time players only. You could, in theory, play all three in one day and receive $75 in food comps.

I usually use the phone in the room and order something for pickup from the Grand Lux.
Good decision...god I love the GLC!
