From what I remember, most definitely!

Just got home, place is nice.. really wish BCLC would let the casinos use Paulson chips though.

A vegas sort of vibe for sure, easily enough room to add more tables when the time comes.

Probably won't be going back there for a few weeks until the hype dies down a bit.

Been playing since it opened and im still here. This is huge step up from Edgewater.

They definitely ****ed up badly understaffing the servers tonight. Huge business mistake imo. Took over 2 hours and many requests to get a single drink, servers were literally never available until about 3am. Tons of people who cane to check out the new casino will walk away with the memory that there were no waitresses. That was just plain dumb. Ill be packing my own water and coffee until they sort that out. The music is still really loud at 6am, and almost everybody is complaining about it and asking for it to be turned down.

But other than those errors, this place seems fantastic. 4 tables going strong at 6 thirty am.

Someone on poker atlas said they are increasing they have increased the rake on the PLO game from 5 to 15? can anyone confirm?

Just saw this too. It was 10, not 5.
But still, really lame if true...

That game plays pretty big so I can see them wanting to capitalize but its complete BS if true. I don't play much live PLO but I still think it should be beatable. The 1-3 NL rake is still way to high at 7 if they raised to 10 I wouldn't play there.

Ok, been there (actually still am) and overall impressed wirh what I've seen. It's clean, bright, with a lot of space (it can easily fit at least 6 more tables). Same staff / dealers but with a real good looking outfit (as well as for cocktail waitresses). Tables are bigger which is always nice for 10 handed play.

The BIG thing is they are now using the Atlas Poker tracking. So with the Atlas app you know in real time about games opened and waiting lists. Each table also has a digital screen for tracking players and empty seats. And with the Encore card you now get a $1/hr comp.

Only downside for now, no self service water/coffee station, and a lack of waitresses. But they said they'll adjust.
And also, of course, the pay parking

And by the way rake on PLO is still the same

They have 6 tables. All were still running until about 4:30 am or so. I played through the night and 3 tables ran all the way through, 2 holdem and a 1/2 PLO.

The game breakdown for the night was, 4 tables of 1/3 NL, 1 table of 1/2 PLO, and 1 table of 5/5 PLO.

Their was a sign posted at the old room about the rake going up to 15. So I think it was 15 for PLO, but I played NL last night so I can't confirm. The rake for all games was 5 two years ago. But it had been 7 and 10 for a while now, and now it's 7 and 15 if they did what the posted sign said. I'll check on that tonight. The decision to raise the PLO rake to 15 would definitely play a role in my choosing to play more NL and less PLO.

Well for now rake is still 7(+1 for BBJ) on nlhe and 10+1 on Omaha.

Thats really good news about the seat tracking and comp per hr , shows they are taking poker seriously. Will be nice to get more tables in there though.

Tx for the reviews guys. Can anyone confirm that you have to pay for parking, and how much it is? That's insane.

I used to go to Edge regularly about two years ago, but haven't been for awhile. Does that brown guy who has the hot blonde gf still go there, and she sits on her cell phone and waits while with him while he's playing for hours on end? It was never a big deal to me, but alot of people would comment that they felt bad for her lol.

I never understood why someone would bring their wife/gf to watch them play poker, probably the most boring thing they could do.

that is a big annoyance to me seeing some guy bringing his gf to watch him play poker, you don't see it as much now... they probably all left their drug dealer bfs but still a bit.

Funny enough there was an old couple at edge who still do this I'm sure people here know them, funny I mean these could be your last 30 mins together you really want to watch him fold his bb for $10 more?

TY Introl. They don't even comp people who spend $$ at the restaurants/stores. I guess if you're dropping a grand on shoes, who cares about $20 for parking.

I assume this is referring to Popeye and his sweet-as-apple-pie wife. How anyone could make fun of them is beyond me, jfc. I'll consider myself lucky to get to their age, have companionship, relative mental and physical health, and enough money to lose $200 a night and dgaf.

Meh, I don't know them, have maybe played with him 2 or 3 times and do not know his story but the couple times his wife has just seemed bored and did not want to be there.

As said before it was much more noticeable a while back with the late 20s/mid 30s asian guy sitting down and having his gf sit in the corner with nothing to do... i saw that far too often made me feel sorry for them.

Popeye shows his wife his hands and she comments to him after and tells him her reads on his opponents. She drinks wine and reads her books. Popeye is a major nit and probably doesnt lose very much. Good for them though, its adorable.

I'm loving the new place so far, and 3 straight winning sessions to start off don't hurt at all.

It's crazy though how much better poker could be here though.
