The 1:30AM closing time is what kills the experience here for me now, more-so than the only-8-tables thing. I've been there so many nights lately where the table is great and I know who will be giving their money away if we can all just keep playing, but then they make that announcement and clear the room out and you don't' get the chance for that payday. It's terrible!

This.. Same goes for fwoods which is an hour earlier. No change in sight

Extended the hours to even 4am instead of 2am should be easy to do one one think.

I miss the pre-covid days when all 28 tables would be in play on a Friday night too though

Room is better than ever. Getting multiple 5/10s most days. Three 10/20s on Tuesdays. The 5/10 is full of players worse than the average 2/5 in most rooms.

Better as far as action. Dealer shortage/ limited tables spread sucks but that should improve. Comps always sucked. If a serious player can't win more per hour here vs the higher comp rooms to cover the difference I would wager they have some improving to do.

Eric Perrson in the house again today. That's multiple times this month. Rumor is it might be becoming a Maverick Card Room or affiliated in some way. No reason why that guy would come to this card room for his own enjoyment

I've only seen $2/$5 but I think they technically are greenlit for other stakes.

I've seen it running every day I've been there since it debuted, but lately it seems to always peter around between 11-midnight or so

$2/$5 rake is $1 for every $10 in the pot, stopping at $8.

$5/$10 is a timed game, $10/player/half-hour.

Wouldn’t say it’s DEAD but Wednesdays and Thursdays are measurably slower lately. 10/20 started at 10am and filled up by 11ish today but did not have a 2nd game running by 4:30 when I left.

But compared to November/December of 2023, the game is less populated for sure but is rarely NOT running

I realize the poker room is non smoking but the first floor is not. The wife is a slot player and will not play where smoking is allowed, so I dont go there.

I wonder if they would attract more players if they put the smokers outside and offered a cleaner environment.

Answer your own question by walking the downstairs floor area the next time you're there. I'd wager it has the highest percentage of smokers of any casino I've been to, other than maybe Turning Stone. I think it's due to location, plus the more blue collar vibe compared to nearby casinos.

it was a thursday and Calvin specifically told me they no longer play NLH 5/10 he even went from our 2/5 game and started the 5/10 PLO game....sad
