Of course I'm not rooting for that outcome, but I'd say maybe 10-15% it gets shelved, or eventually gets postponed indefinitely.

While I don't agree with you cause I work there, I can see why you say it.

But my thoughts exactly are,

The place is ran half ass backwards because of Gaming Comission. They are the pickiest bull****ters in the place, and micro manage EVERYTHING.

It will happen, it's just a matter of time! Be patient.

I for one am excited about Twin River opening a poker room (whenever it's opened). It would be nice to drive an hour less to TR than Fox or Mohegan. But if the quality of the games and players is terrible, I might take the longer drive to CT.

I saw a job listing. They're still looking for poker supervisors and dealers. That may be one of their issues.

I just called today and they said they don't have a date... But are hoping for by end of year. Are these dealers scheduled to deal or train more?

Scheduled to deal.
I got scheduled to deal Wednesday Dec 2nd, and I'm a full timer.
Training does NOT occur in gaming floor, that happens in a different building.

FYI he's not an authorized representative, so he's not allowed to answer questions related to the room.

So only "authorized representatives" are allowed to answer questions related to the room ?

Photos show shuffling machines on the dealer's left. Is that unusual, or am I just used to Foxwoods having the machine on the dealer's right?

That does look unusual. Also, ten cup holders answers the question of what max seating would be, although with only 16 total tables odds were against them opting for nine handed games.
