Wow, that's a surprise. I thought Mohegan had at most one 5/10 at a time. Maaaybe a must move on a good night. I've actually never seen 10/25 run there. I suppose I haven't been to Mohegan recently though.

What's causing this?? I would have thought Twin River opening back up would start to dilute the player pools from local (lol "local") casinos.

Is Twin River still running games 10 handed or have they cut it down to 8 or 9 like everyone else in New England?

I guess it was just for President's Day weekend. They got up to three 10/25, four 5/10, seven 2/5 and seventeen 1/2 tables on Saturday crazy.

I live 10 minutes away from Twin River, but it looks like I'll be driving to NH for my poker action.

First time back to TwinRiver yesterday, started the day @10am with 3full 2-5 tables. Opened a 4th 2-5 by 11am and then 5-10 around 12. Excited to see what the BallyÂ’s name will bring, obviously things arenÂ’t perfect right away but is to be expected after being closed for 3ish years. With only a 15min ride and increased buyins, I can overlook the inexperienced dealers and 10handed tables for nowÂ…

It's gotta be a different game from the pre-pandemic 5/10, right? Considering that the cap used to be $1,000.

Can you attest to this?

Does cash play at 5/T? How's the cashing out experience? Asking because Encore's cage experience is a PAIN and I'm trying to find any reason to head over to Twin.

$100s play.

Cashing out is fine, there's a cage near the poker room. If there's a long line, you can wander to a different cage

Thanks everyone for the updates. Most appreciated. Just confirming, it’s four tables during the week and eight on weekends, is that still correct? Looks like they still don’t have live updates or sign ups on either Poker Atlas or Bravo, which is pretty annoying in 2023. The room description on Poker Atlas just says four tables so just wanting to confirm it goes to eight on weekends. Thanks again to everyone posting their updates.

Yesterday they had 8 tables running during the afternoon. I was told that it was 8 during the day on Monday also.

Does anybody know if they have started spreading 1/2 or 1/3 games yet? If so what are the buy in limits?

1-2 was running yesterday. They had at least 3 tables at 2pm. Max buyin is $300.

Ugh. Was hoping this wasn't the case. If I'm recalling correctly, pre-pandemic you had to just sit there and wait, right? Like, actually wait right there in proximity to the floor, since they didn't have a texting system?

Pre-Pandemic Twin river had a call in list and was able to text players when their seat became available. That's what makes the current setup so frustrating.

Pre-pandemic you could call a phone number and get put on any game list(s).

When you arrived, you could check in with the front desk and give them your players card and - assuming you have an accurate phone number attached to it - you would get a text message when your seat was ready.

So even if you didn't call ahead and just showed up, if you had a player's card with your phone number you could get the text when you ask to be put on a list in person.
