Last Saturday, only 20 people on the 1/2 list at 1pm. Sat afternoon a great time to grind. Doesn't get too busy until later.

Well the room has been open almost a year and there are so many kinks that they still haven't worked out.
When I went in on Friday the lists were long so I put my name on every list. Was seated at a 3/6 limit game about 30 minutes after arrival. I frequently went over to scout out the 2/5 games and for over twenty minutes there were 4 open seats with more than 50 names on the 2/5 list. The woman covering that section was always doing busy work but, imo, her first priority should be seating players. I then told a floor supervisor while he was three steps away from the desk and his response was, "That's ____'s job". Seriously???? You can't just tell the desk to call 4 names from the list? And the do this via walkie so why couldn't the person overseeing that area take the four seconds to speak those words into the walkie? It was over 15 minutes later before anymore names were called. This is just laziness and *******ry.
The other main issue is that most of the floor people treat the players like they are prison guards hired to keep them in line. They bark, yell, act like everyone is a degenerate criminal. Last time I checked they were getting a paycheck to work there. I don't want to play poker to get yelled at or hear anyone else get yelled at. I was accused by this mobster looking jackass overnight one night of eating caramels when this never happened. He was insulting and rude. There are a few good floors but there are way more ****heads who forget that we pay the rake that makes their job possible.
Then the point issue. Yes, $1 an hour sucks but when I have played 42 hours over three days and even though I checked everyday to make sure I'm logged in and was in the same seat all weekend, how did I only get credit for 20?
Shape up jerks. The action is going to die down so people won't be so willing to overlook all of your flaws just to play there

Jpsychlady - you have several valid reasons to complain. What you wrote is true! Sadly, there doesn't seem to be any improvements.

As far as points go, the computer automatically logs you out after a certain number of hours. So, the floor has to log you back in.

I had a friendly conversation with one of the floors. He basically said that upper management at Twin River does not care. He described them as an accidental casino. In his words, "They are not trying to compete with Mohegan Sun". They are a business that suddenly became a casino.

Vote yes on ballot measure 1 tomorrow on the Rhode Island ballot. If passed, the owners of TR can build a new casino in Tiverton. I've heard it would have poker and possibly even tournaments, although there's probably insufficient demand for two poker rooms 40 minutes or less apart in Rhode Island (and roughly equidistant to Providence, TR in Lincoln is ~10 min closer with no traffic).

I told them over and over and OVER again that Bravo is only way to go, to completely forget about Ballys poker view cause it's a poop program.
They don't listen well to employees or on this case, ex employees

Looks good for Tiverton--passed statewide and is ahead in Tiverton with just the provisional/mail-in votes left to count. Should be finalized sometime tomorrow.

Question 1 currently 55% yes with 99% reporting (41,594 votes ahead). I was not aware there was a separate local vote. As of last night, on the local vote, yes is ahead 3,927 to 3,664 (263 votes) with ~800 votes still to be counted.

Yes the local vote. If I remember correctly the state passed table games for Newport but the local did not pass so no table games.
I was against the Tiverton casino. I know a lot of 2/5 players that come from Cape cod and Newport that I don't want them to stop coming to Lincoln. Plus I don't think there is enough of a demand to support another card room so close

My memory matches yours. That was the same election that approved table games at TR, and, as I live in East Greenwich, I was REALLY pulling for Newport

So I'm just sitting here, minding my own business while this security guard is putting a fill on the table. He looks at me and says very sternly, "no eating at the table". I lift my water glass up and say, 'it's ice". He says, "yeah, no eating at the table". Really? Some of these employees really have power trips going on

Looking forward to never having to deal with this monkey tilting place again now that bbcc is up and running. are you the one that wrote the review vs TR?

Apparently if you win too much in the pits the floors will all huddle around you and give a ton of heat more than an ordinary casino so it's not just poker I guess

even the smell puts me on tilt. peace TR

I'm 20 minutes from TR, 45-50 from Foxwoods. The longer ride is not even close to being a reason to not head south on 95

many of the security guards are off-duty and retired rhode island state troopers if you are wondering where the ****ty attitude towards other humans came from

I dealt in the pits and mostly high limit for 3 years there, never ever have I seen floor supervisors give anyone crap for winning and I've deal 250K upswings on some players. Higher management would sweat the money but never a floor supervisor give crap to anyone.

6K max per hand
There was a few players that would bet that playing two hands(12K)

Only one player is allowed to play 3 hands in that house.

I've heard grumblings about certain reg 2/5-5/10 players who have the ability to call in and be put on the wait list. Can't confirm or deny tho.

As another poster said, FU TR- hello BB
