While the bolded is technically correct, those gamblers would be one and done. FFS, the dealers can't get Holdem right, you want them trying to figure out a pot-size raise???

What's the activity of the room typically like early saturday morning? Just stud players using their social security money?

There's a couple 1-2nl tables and maybe one 2-5nl table. Some of those may be overnight games. 3-6 limit starts around 10:30-11am. This is from my times playing on sat/sun mornings.

Dealers continue to amaze @ 1/2 NL. Dealer neglected to burn a (3rd) card on the River. Former FW dealer poined this out by showing the dealer that there were only 2 burned cards instead of 3. Dealer was having none of it, however & called over the floor who confirmed that there must be a total of 3 burn cards and not just two.

Went down for the first time on Sat. Thought I'd throw in my .02.

Arrived around 7, got into a 2-5 game around 7:30.
Dealers were decent, no big mistakes, handled the game well. Didn't play 1-2 so I don't know if the 2-5 dealers were better than others.

Started on a must move table that was very passive, my c-bets were getting through almost 100%. Got moved to a main table, immediately recognized 3 longtime FW regs. Table was more aggressive than the must move and the play was a step up, but was still a profitable table. HOWEVER, as soon as I sat down there was a very strong odor of urine, like the Men's room in North Station when the old Garden still stood kind of odor. There was a guy in a scooter sitting next to me and long story short I got a table change.

3rd table was better, saw J4s run down 22 on a J2J flop. J4s hit a four and explained that because it was "suited" that's why I called the $60 3-bet preflop.

Overall I was pleased with the room. I guess I had low expectations. They did however have a big problem filling seats. There was an empty seat at the must move pretty much the entire time I was there even though the lists were long.

Oh yea, the woman they had calling names was TERRIBLE, she called me and I asked where to go and see gave me such attitude, "go back there( points behind her) and ask a guy with a suit." And the kicker was she'd call a name "ABC 2-5" no one shows up. FIVE MINUTES LATER "ABC 2-5"...... ANOTHER FIVE MINUTES LATER "ABC 2-5, XYZ 2-5" At one point she was calling FIVE NAMES that were obviously not there. Geez, they can't take a ride to foxwoods and see how they do it?

I heard that a 2/5 reg got a lifetime ban for touching or pulling a dealers hair. I can't say his name, but I know the guy, and I'm not surprised that he did something dumb to get kicked out.

The shufflers are broken at least half of the time.

The 2/5 dealers are ok, but they make a ton of little mistakes. Some dealers forget the small blind's change. Some dealers over rake the pot. I've seen a lot of calls that were either short by one red chip, or had one red chip too many, and the dealer just raked it all into the main pot without counting.

IMO, overall the 2/5 game there is pretty good.

One guy was asked to leave for the day after arguing forever about the seat change button, LOL.

In the BB. SB throws in a red chip. I say "check" Dealer says it's a raise but he isn't sure. I ask that floor be called. 2 floor people have long discussion before ruling that SB did not raise. WTF. I am the bad guy b/c dealer doesn't know the rules! (SB did not say "raise". I do not want to call a raise with 98o.

Eh... dealer has plenty of company. Look at how many questions like that get asked in the main forum.

Prob gonna go over to TR this evening, grind some 1/2 NLHE and/or 5/10 stud to work on my stud game. May take a shot at shortstacking 5/10 NLHE later on depending how it goes, especially if the game is looking good (I've done so very profitably in the past). Anyone else gonna be there tonight?

My problem was with the dealer not asking for help from the floor after he said that he didn't know the rule rather than him not knowing the rule.

Even the supervisors wouldn't know and they would probably say it's raise

2/5 games here are mad soft compared to Foxwoods and mohegan, though the $100 buy in is a joke. Is this venue getting more tables? 50 people on the waitlists tonight at it's most busy point.

Two supervisors came to the table. One had previously worked as a dealer at the Mohegan who came up with the correct ruling (call).

Trying to decide for next Sunday/Monday whether to play 1/2 @ Twin River or stay overnight @ Foxwoods for the "Monday Madness" ($3k every hour for the high hand).

I find the MM personally nit filled and not worth the hype, but that's my opinion for 1/2 at FX. I'd say check out twin river, shouldn't be that long of a wait sunday night into monday.

Thanks for your input. I also find the MM nothing to write home about. Same faces, same regs. Also tough to put anyone on a hand with everyone trying for the high hand (eg. check call with AKs)

What was going on that it was so dead Saturday night? I got there around 7:30 and was set immediately--no list for the better part of the night.

You donated a buyin to me, or I donated a buyin to you? Both were happening frequently

I've never been on Saturday morning, but the games from Friday night run all night in my experience, at least the NLHE does (stud might break at some point). I have friends who go at 8am to play vs the degens who've been playing all night -- they tell me it's the softest time to go. And then by the early afternoon, the games are really picking up again for Saturday evening.
