I think there's a whole dynamic here that people aren't taking into consideration. If what I'm hearing is true and the room will be 18+ then you can bet the demographic of the room will be all the 18-19-and 20yr olds within 100 miles that want to play poker but cant play at Foxwoods or Mohegan. I believe that the room will be filled with backpack toting, flat brimmed cap sporting, mirrored sunglasses wearing, Beats by Dre listening under 21yr olds who are looking to launch their poker career to greatness... from Twin River to the WSOP final table
If it is indeed going to be an 18+ room then I think it will greatly change what the room will be like, how it will play, what games/stakes will be run, and who will be there playing. I think the room will put the biggest hurt on all the New England home games that feature under 21yr old players while not really impacting either Connecticut casino
