Have the absurd wait times died down at all? Haven't been in a month or so.

Ok, Went to Twin River.... Games are Soft and Great.... Staff is mostly horrible and with Horrible attitudes. I know they are new but there is NO reason for a burn and turn without action complete 3 Times (Within my 3 Hour session) one of the floor supervisors came over and didn't know what to do.... and then gave the table a attitude like we were wasting her time (VERY PISS POOR) This is something I would expect within the first weeks of opening. I made money but overall it was a bad experience
IMO things need to change here or the room will slowly die out.

The Good and the Bad for Me personally. (This is from only 3 hours of play)

+ Location is Great (for me)
+ Soft Games

- Most Dealers are Slow and New, Mistakes WILL happen regularly (I might of caught a bad string of dealers, But all 4 dealers were slow)
- Floor Staff Needs Improvement, Horrible attitudes (Not all, but Some)
- Pay for Alcoholic Drinks
- The Bands on Weekends from the Bar....
- The TV Issue Only one channel can be broadcasted in the whole room at one TIME......smh (That's what I was told by a Floor, wanted to watch a NBA Game)
- The Rating system and the long waits for games.

I really Hope this will all be addressed. I really want this room to work but as of now, its NOT.

I was there and the Bruins were playing, but not on the TV's, instead, it was ESPN news, general nothing on all the TVs. I asked TD, he says no problem, 15 min later, ask another one..."sure"... Finally find room manager..... "Everyone will have to watch the same thing, we only have one cable box for all the TVs". Lolololol. WAT, so what... Anything is better than ESPN news. So he puts the Bruins on and it was good. The game ends, post game show, then phantom gourmet late into the night.... On like 35 TVs....

Who knows, no sound, no closed caption.

I was there the other night, Bruins on up 2-1 mid second period. someone must have asked to change channel, went to a college hoop game from the midwest, 61-40 with 16 minutes to go in the game. Scintillating

Was there last Monday for NL. Dealers were in a word "horrible". Getting a little tired waiting to see some improvement. I can accept the fact, that it will take them awhile to improve, but not paying attention to the game is not acceptable. The four that I had seemed to think it was their job to try to entertain the table with "clever" banter and forget about any rules or correct procedure. Ex. dealer did not know the minimum amount to 3 bet until a dealer at Foxwoods corrected him. He then took it upon himself to question her about her dealing experience(s) She was clearly not amused. I guess she figured it was her night off from dealing. Kid beside me takes a c note off the table and pockets it with no dealer reaction. I like to be fairly quiet at the table but I was also not amused so I told the kid that he couldn't take money off the table. He tells me that each casino has different rules. I told him that this rule was pretty universal even at Twin River.

I guess I will wait another 6 weeks.

For me it's become a choice between driving 15 minutes to TR and waiting 1-2 hours vs driving 45 minutes to FW and waiting maybe 1/2 hour. The extra time driving home from FW is becoming a less significant issue.

Not to mention the fact that nowadays the cost of the extra gas you need to get to FW is basically less than a Happy Meal.

Finally played for the first time this past Saturday. Can confirm all the negative feedback. I don't think I've seen the amount of mishaps, errors, poor floor conduct in all of 2015 as I did in that one session. It was almost like baseball coaches, drafted golfers and synchronized swimmers, to play a football game on a tennis court, that was reffed by boxing judges. #worstpokerroomever

I played here last Saturday. Was on the wait list for about an hour and a half. Walked around grabbed a beer listened to some live performances to kill the wait. Around 10p the 1/2nl tables started freeing up big time and went by quick. Played at the same table for around 2 and half hours. I'm pretty average/bad at poker, dont play often, and left $150 up which is good for me. Play was very very loose on my table, got the feel a lot of these guys playing thought they were pro's, but clearly not. Felt bad for the dealers as my table was a bit of a circus. They never really seemed to have control over the table. People insulting the dealers, telling them they weren't doing a good job. One crazed blonde who didn't speak english and was swearing at the dealer in her native tongue. She kept picking cards up off the table, trying to take other peoples chips like it was a home game when she put out a $5 chip and needed change. Crazy place. I will go back since its a 45 min shorter commute than anywhere else.

They close at 3AM on weeknights. Fri/Sat/Holidays is 24 hours. Not sure what time they re-open in the mornings though.

The last time I checked, they open at noon on weekdays, which would include Fridays. I invite anyone with more recent or more accurate info to chime in.

Some of the poker dealers at Twin River are fine. Others are either really slow or they struggle with their job.

I was in a hand with a main pot and side pot, and the dealer goofed it up. I spoke up right away, and the dealer fixed it.

Many times, the dealer button was moved twice (incorrectly). To the players, if you move the dealer button, say something really loud, and make sure the dealer doesn't move it again.

Sometimes the dealers push the pot to the wrong person.

Another situation, one player complained that another player had bet out of turn, the dealer did nothing to clear up the confusion.

Bottom line, if you are in a hand, pay attention, don't depend too much on the dealer, and speak up quickly if you notice a mistake.

Overall, the games are good, and Twin River is a lot closer for me. If you don't want to wait for a seat, get there early. I'll be back to Twin River. But I'll also still play at Foxwoods sometimes.

March 15 they will be open 24/7. The room is ok. The dealers talk too much and the rules are very inconsistent. Hopefully that will smooth out over time. I drive extra to come here because I think the games are that much better.

Bad combo as pointed out by prior poster. The dealers that suck try to cover it up by talking ragtime. Please STFU. Even if you suck at the job, you should at least try to concentrate on learning how to deal and forget the small talk.

I called TR today and was told that the poker room would go 24/7 starting tomorrow.
