That's what I figured to, that it was more to do with Football and march madness being over and nothing but baseball running for a while than being kiosks vs windows

Was anyone running to bet on the Mets/Phillies game tonight? The place will be a zoo come September.
Are the spreads and payouts the same as other "outlets" for sport betting or is the casino trying to make a little extra hedging the lines?

They definitely shade lines for local teams. You can get great numbers betting against. No idea if William Hill would instaban if you do so consistently for decent sums.

dead wrong.

they can spread any game they’d like if they took the time to get it approved by gaming control but the dirtbags that own twin river are too lazy / cheap / ignorant to actually do so.

I have literally never seen a casino company have such contempt for their customers the way twin river does.

The main shift guy(at least he used to be) has said many times that he won’t ever spread PLO

Do you have any more info on this? Send it in a private message if you have to.

The room will no doubt be changing with Encore, but it would be nice to see a little more variety in the games. Every time I go in I get a stud interest list going. I know it isn't going to run but it will be NEVER run if there isn't a list going. Only having NL is getting really boring. Stud is a much much more complex game and PLO is obviously great for action.

I could be way off, but I thought when they requested the State to be able to include poker in addition to table games, the change to the regs was written specifying only Holdem (Limit & NL) and stud.

what an angle shoot last night at 2/5.

forgive me for not having exact ammounts and stacks i did nt take notes....but man what an angle lmao..

guy in UTG+1 makes it 20 (has about 253 to start the hand....the 3 is important)...probably 4 calls...the BB makes it 150.....UTG1 makes the call...everyone else folds..

flop....6Q3r

BB bets $100 (assuming it puts the UTG all in)...UTG1 hems and haws...counts out his remaining chips including bunch of whites....eventually sticks it in (all but the 3 remaining whites.....everyone including the dealer just assumes hes all in....

turn 7

river 8

BB flips over 10's.....the UTG1 looks at it....and after realizing he is beat..says wait....I have 3$ left....i never got to act on the turn.....floor comes over...rules the 8 goes back in the deck....reshuffled...and action takes place where the BB bets $3 and the UTG calls

NEW river 7

UTG says now i have trip 7's!! and scoops....(he had 72o btw)

oh man

was legit by RULE>...but qite douchey......even the floor walked by at one point and called him a scumbag lmao

Something about this story doesn't add up. Why would the floor tell the dealer to only re-deal the river, instead of the turn and the river?

Why would they re-deal the turn? Everything was done correctly through the dealing of the turn card.

This is case where the floor should've invoked Rule #1, where they can override a letter-of-the-law rule in the interest of fairness. You don't re-deal a new card in a $500+ pot over 3 dollars.

Oh shoot you're right I dunno what I was thinking

Yea, of course the floor should have done as you said but this is Twin River!

BIG NEWS

As of last week sometime (I am surprised no one has reported it here yet), you can now CALL AHEAD and put your name on the waiting list for any game! The list in the room on the screens will show call-ins by showing the time-stamp they called in next to their name.

The number to call is 401 475 8300

So far this is the only change I've seen them do in the wake of Encore opening

Please don't flame me if I didn't understand all the previous posts. :-)

I am looking to place a bet on a NFL team's season total wins like what is posted at the bottom of the page here.

https://www.oddsshark.com/nfl/nfl-ov...er-win-totals/

I am curious how I can check if Twin has this bet available and if yes I will drive down from Boston to place the bet.

I called the casino. They said they can't connect me to the SportsBook. I called again and another operator said I can find all the info I need on the William Hill website. I couldn't locate any info regarding anything other than Nevada or New Jersey.

What is my best shot of finding the line and odds/vig for a team's over/under other than having a TR poker reg just go and get that info for me?

Forget the odds/line, I'm just curious if the bet is available at all before I make a drive. The team I want to bet on isn't local (like Chicago or KC or Houston) so I assume the odds will be pretty fair/consistent with any other place.

Haven’t been to TR since May but I recall them having team totals for all teams, high vig but prob on par with anywhere else live.

At a certain point last night, a random Tuesday night, $5/$10 was running strong with a full table of 10 and 2 names on the list, and the last remaining $2/$5 table broke so there was only $1/$2 and $5/$10.

TR is impossible to predict

For those curious, $5/$10 is alive again at Twin River.

Last night the table got full around 730ish or so, and remained 10handed past midnight I believe.

Heard some others mention $5/$10 had been running daily lately

Cool, I was in Vegas last week so didn't know. The must-move $5/$10 on a busy Friday/Saturday night is probably the best $5/$10 game you can play in

I just checked and it looks like online sportsbetting is up now. I need to run in tonight to verify my identity or whatever, but does anyone from out of state know how this is going to work in/out of RI borders? Also, can we deposit/ withdraw cash at the window or something or is it just bank transfers?

My assumption is that you'll have to turn on location in the app and if you're not in RI according to the GPS, you won't be able to use the app. Draft Kings works like that, IIRC.
