Well bummer. It would've been nice to arrive late afternoon/evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday without facing a 2-3 hour wait but I guess I'll keep going at noon

i went on saturday at 4pm was 23rdon the list and only waited 45 minutes until my name was called for 2/5 ..i was sitting 5/10 so i didnt need it...so I think if you go around dinner time you should be seated quickly

but I ear ya...would be nice for an expanded room..I would expect the charging station and masseuse come first...as they needed to train more dealers for the new tables

Addition of 9 more tables (just awaiting graduation of dealer school)
I'm here and it's April 7th and still not done. I asked a floor and he said that "it's happening but they don't know when"

On an unrelated note, I find it very difficult to win on table 1. Every other table I do well on. Table 1 sucks for me

Dealer this week told me it's an unfounded rumor that there will be any additional tables, and there is no poker dealer school currently, only a table games dealer school.

Hmmm. Numerous floor people think that it's going to happen.

A floor person also told me once that they could spread any game on demand. RONG

Game breaks at 3:30am. The five of us fill seats at the remaining 3 tables. I put my chips down in what would be utg. I haven't visited the little ladies room in hours so I say, "I'll come in behind the button" Floor person tells me that i will have to post. Wtf??? Since when? Even the dealer looked at her like she was ****ed up. Not that posting is that big of a deal but the constant rules changing plus the fact that it's total bull**** anyway just really irked me.

i saw you there....and its funny cause the table right next to table 1 (not table 2...where I sat 5/10 yesterday for a 1k+ win) i always lose at....so weird

but yeah n one knows much....and on your broken game thing...not many of the floor know the real rules...

Only controversy I got into with the floor....I was in a big pot 3 way...the aggressor shoved on the turn for 400+ the other guy in the hand tanked and called...I folded (if the middle guy folded I would have called cause i knew the aggressor was on a draw)...the river came which would have given me a boat but got the OG all in a flush which won....I asked to see the middle guys hand the dealer said no way your not in the hand....I said um I was and put good money in this pot....we called the floor...he agreed with her and made her muck the hand

I said no your wrong...please learn the rules...he then went over to another floor and and found the real rule and apologized

in case anyone is wondering...on a called river bet anyone dealt into the hand is allowed to ask to see the hands...nvm one that had a serous investment into the pot

I take it you're speaking solely with regard to the rules at TR in that last paragraph?

It's definitely not the rule everywhere and it's also not the best rule to have in place, so that might be the cause for confusion in your situation. The casinos in Maryland (and in Atlantic City as of a couple years ago) don't allow IWTSTH on demand. I won't derail this thread with more details, but here's a couple threads for those who are interested in further discussion on this issue:

So I just asked the big guy here about the broken game/posting bs and he said that she was right! He said that he should send out an email to all the dealers explaining the rule and I suggested that he should instead send an email to the idiot who made that rule up

I always say, if there's a right/logical way to do something, then TR does the opposite.

Well I eeked out a buyin win at table 1 on Friday but the magic has been happening at table 4 for the past 2 months. Table 4, seat 3 I have won 4+ buyins in that seat the last 5 times I've sat there. I'm not superstitious and I can't explain why but that's my seat

There is an open table right now, with a dealer at it ready to go, that is sitting idle because they can't find ten chairs.

I see that 😂😂😂

I'm laughing extra hard at that because I was just on the bad side of a horrendous ruling.

Two limpers. I raise to 30 with 88. Two callers. Flop J83. Two hearts.

Idiot leads for 25. I raise to 100. Idiot calls. Turn 3. He check calls 100. River Ad. Idiot checks. I bet 150. Idiot says 340. Dealer says raise. I call
Idiot says he didn't raise. Says he was stating how much he had. Floor rules he doesn't have to pay even though everyone, including the dealer said it was a raise.

Did the dealer announce the raise and prompt you to act after the other player said "340"?

On what planet is that not a bet. He made a verbal AND physical declaration indicating a bet.
