Hello, I am looking to start a turtle creek thread. I figure we can discuss hands and optimal strategies against the fish we see most commonly. Our room and players do not really fit into the typical low stakes players as they only offer 1/2 regularly and many players are well beyond this skill level. I play there regularly and wold love to have a discussion.

I have played there a few times. Who do you think are the winning players and the "fish", or losing players?

I may be stopping by the room in a few months. Maybe we can get a bigger game going? Preferably something other than NLH or PLO. Maybe NL single-draw 2-7? Can they spread that game? Or how about dealers choice?

Hope to see you there later.

From what I have noticed, TC only trains their dealers for NLH. They want just about every dealer in there to be able to deal poker. This has led to their best dealers being out in the pits when they should be in the poker room. I have heard about 5% of the dealers can deal PLO. Never heard of any other game being spread. They claim that if there is a big enough list they will spread any game. I wouldn't count on it though.
