great start frankie.... do you think you'll have to use alternates for the 10am Flight D tomorrow? Turnout will obviously be huge. Wondering if I need to show up super early to register if I want to get a seat.

Frankie,
Great support for the WSOP-C this year. Well done on the additional tables, moving the media release sign-up to the head of the registration line, thanks for having the extra staff for registration, thanks for the free coffee, team, water. I greatly enjoyed my 1st 2 days.

Only negative is the lack of event updates on the WSOP circuit pages at WSOP.COM . Please get a blogger & photog on your staff for next year.

You guys run great tournaments on your own. These wsop tournaments aren't it. The structure where the blinds go up every 15 hands is absurd. Average stack was 25bb with 40 percent of the field remaining in the monster stack. That with the 70 dollar rake on a 400 dollar tournament Phil Ivey wouldn't be plus ev long term in these events. To the spoils go whoever flips coins best I guess. At this point wsop profiting of its name.

Thank you Jilly, appreciate the kind words. Unfortunately due to the weather and travel issues earlier in the week the WSOP reporter and analyst that usually accompany the Event are not able to get here until the 21st. They are the ones that supply those updates! Enjoy the remainder of your trip!!!

Hello EE. Thank you for the positive remarks concerning our tournaments, I"m sorry the WSOP is not to your liking. We can only host the event, all structures and rules are established by the WSOP!

Sorry Boss, just saw this. the lines moved very well today due to the increase in seating and more registration terminals. There were some very minor delays later on but that was beacause we had over 1,000 guests ( and counting ) show up for this event. Over all though registration has been very smooth. BTW: the $200K Prize Pool is well over $800,000 and growing! Glad you enjoyed opening day! Stop by and say hi!

1-3 no limit, BBS stands for “buy to the biggest stack”, so max buy-in is equal to the biggest stack at the table. Not sure what the min is.

I like the additions tstone made this year with the coffee and water. You guys def stepped up the convention center this year. Series is run much better than last year especially with the lines. Not going to lie, I like poker tournaments that are run in the other rooms Vs the poker room (I remember in the past I really liked the deepstacks November series run in one of the convention rooms but this was probably 8+ years ago- the poker room can be slightly cramped with space for bigger mtts like the biggger guarantees have been hitting).

As a side note- no Brag here- I ran very well…. I just won the $600 bounty circuit event. Nice to finally win a bigger field mtt at Turning Stone after playing mtts there since college and making a few deep runs with no top FT finishes (in big field weekend mtts).

Congrats JK!!! thank you for the kind words about the additions! And agreed, we preferred to run the Events in other rooms but as is the case, there is not enough staff available on large weekends to staff 2 locations. We cannot hire area dealers for those weekends like some other States (NJ) , New York dealers are licensed are property specific and cannot work at another property! hope that helps!

I'm hoping to play one of the 1-day events that start at 4pm this weekend. Any guess as to how long these will run?

I might be a few levels off but I would guess 400 players- maybe heads-up is 20bb avg stack so Like 4mill per player so 200k bb level. Probably 30 levels.

Give or take 11- 11.5 hours with 5 breaks of 15min. Could go longer or shorter based on # of players. I would expect 400+. Probably will take 5 hrs for bubble to burst- would assume it goes around 4k bb level.

Frankie-

I see the dates for the May tournament are May 19-21. Is there also going to be a WSOP satellite on the 20th or more likely 21st that weekend to match up with the Main Event Maynia that the WSOP is promoting (https://www.wsop.com/mainevent/)? Or is it going to be the one on May 7th and not a second? A $1175 (or your preferred $1400) WSOP satty starting at like 2 PM on the 21st I think would draw very well.

Hi Billy,
Yes, in conjunction with the WSOP world wide poker weekend, we will hold Main Event Maynia on May 21st at 1pm as well as Day 2 of the $100K guarantee East Coast Poker Championship Day 2. ( $460 Buy in for The ECPC Event...Two Day 1's on Friday and Saturday May 19th and 20th )

- On May 7th, there will also be our previously scheduled Turning Stone $1400 Main Event to win a seat to Vegas, It is open to those who have won previous satellites along with those wanting b to buy-in the day of.

-We are also holding $175 satellites for both events!

-Just to clarify, both of our Main Events are a $1,400 Buy-in. The WSOP suggested buy-in of $1,100 would cover the $10Kseat and only $1,000 in travel expenses.

-Our $1,400 buy-in covers the the $10K seat to Vegas and $3,000 in travel expenses!!! Hope that helps!

-Frankie

Hi Tab,
Nope, we are alive and well! There have been some Bravo issues not showing correct information and there is the expected slowdown following the extremely successful WSOP Circuit event, but we are very much alive. Bounty tournament yesterday, $1,400 win a seat to the WSOP 2023 Main Event tournament today, High and Progressive hands every day, $100K guarantee the weekend of May 19,20 and 21 etc...

Hey Frankie,

I may be overlooking it online but is there anywhere to see the structure for the main event mania $1400?

Thank you
