Hi Yeplayer, sorry Im late getting back to you, I was away for the past few days!. The games you are looking to play should be available on the weekends especially during HOF weekend when we are traditionally a bit busier. Hope that helps!!!

Frankie,
Can you confirm the start time for the WSOP satellite on May 1st? I believe it’s noon, but neither the website or Bravo list the start time. Thanks.

Sorry Anton, was away for a few days and just saw this. Just to clarify, the $1,400 buy-in Main Event to win a seat to Vegas begins at 12pm with registration starting at 10am, all other satellites conclude today, Wednesday April 27th. See you Sunday!

Nice to see turning stone got a wsop circuit stop again in March 2023! Sorry if I was negative before Frankie. I just got back from Vegas for some WSOP events. Found the tournaments run at turning stone more enjoyable than what they had in vegas- the room in vegas was way too hot and uncomfortable.

Frankie, any chance you guys run a tournament series with more than a $460-100k in the coming months? The #s have looked great and the demand seems to be there. I know it’s difficult to run a bigger event though with limited #s of dealers.

No problem JK, right now due to staffing there are no plans to run anything higher than a $100K for $460. That doesnt mean it WILL OR wont happen it just means there are no current plans. Hope you had a good time in Vegas!

Frankie you need to change the structures of these tournaments.

120+ on alternate list right now, insane.

Plus if played out to winner this will likely go until 6am+ Monday morning.

There is zero reason a $400 tournament needs 40/50 minute levels. Start with 30 and less chips which will increase bust out rate. Then can go to 40 second half of day 1/day 2.

Really appreciate that you are running mtts and give you a lot of credit for that. Just my thoughts. No need for a small buy in to have this "good" of a structure, especially when there are capacity issues.

Also pretty shocking to see 9 cash games opened with small lists while 100+ waiting for the tournament

Thanks to all that came out to play in the Empire State Championship. Fortunately, all that stayed to play did get into the tournament and all those that busted out were able to re-enter. if they chose too. We realize there were wait times during the Flights. Unfortunately when you have almost 800 players show up when you normally get 500 or so for an event, wait times will be inevitable. Even if all 32 tables were open for the Tournament (320 Guests) , there would still be wait times for guests when you have that many players show. up or an event. There will always be a small percentage that will voice their displeasure at what we do and that is their right. But for the 98% that understand how these events actually work, unfold and know what t takes to hold events of this size, we appreciate the supportive comments received during the flights and through today!
Again , thank you to all for coming out.

Not shocking at all Boss. There were over 100 guests on the board waiting to play cash as well. The board only shows 12names per type game. It would not be fair to them to limit their ability to play as they traveled here like everyone else and their wait time is just as significant to them. We had half the room (16 tables ) set aside for tournament play which is about what we have had during our past events. Considering limited staff, 16 Tournament tables to 9 cash tables is pretty much industry standard when balancing. Its actually higher than most rooms would go. Unfortunately when 754 guests show up over 2 days there will be wait times for both. All that aside thank you for coming out to play, will we try to address/limit the wait times should they arise again in the future. Thank you!

Hi play, it does but can be hit or miss because our 1/3 buy to the biggest stack plays stronger than the 2/5. Hope that helps.

Thanks Frankie, it was nice meeting you last night and just like you said the 1/3 ended up being phenomenal, so we'll be back again in a couple weeks but we were extremely impressed it was above our expectations for sure. I would say IMHO MDL, Parx and TS are the top 3 rooms in the north east without a doubt.

Nice to see schedule out fairly early. At the WSOP, are those guaranteed serious? They could be 2x or 3x that and would still easily clear for no overlay. Think it’s a little goofy that the guarantees are so low. The 25k opener last year got 133k and the 200k got 702k. Idk I feel the WSOP could bump the gtns up as they will easily clear but I know it doesn’t really matter as people are going to play no matter what I’m big #s.

Looking forward to this tournament starting Black Friday. Hoping the # is bigger than last year. Frankie, any idea on how many tables max you are starting with (I would assume 30?). Last mtt series, I was going to be put on a wait list and just went home around 11am. I’ll probably just show up early to avoid a wait list.

Great tournament Frankie. Well run by Turning Stone. Btw no gimmicks is the best floor staff at turning stone. He did a great job running tourny today.

Two recent things I am strongly in favor of-your starting chip allocation of 10 100s and 7 1000s instead of an extra 5k chip is a massive improvement. Additionally, re-entry ending before day 2 is also a significant positive.

I'm not a huge fan of the 10k chips, and think your dealers are occasionally a little too aggressive in getting 100s into the well when the last two levels with those chips seem to require change every hand. But adding chips to the table overall is an improvement and makes the tournament run much smoother.

One suggestion I would have would be to investigate whether or not a 15th level can be played on day 1 and not get to the money. If you play 15 levels on day 1, breaks on day 2 line up with the race-off after level 21, and the tournament will end sooner on day 2.
