Agreed BBJ is a joke and the 2$ club card you have to puchase and have visable on the table. But a 30 minute drive there for me, I can deal with their BS

Collection is 5 and 1 dollar of it was used for promotions including a BBJ and other giveaways. Not the whole dollar for BBJ only.

Yeah it goes to the giveaways like the $350 dollar seats.

$50 of that is the rake so straight back to TS.

Then there's the lord knows how many players who don't actually play it.

But it's TS, off course it's going to be a ripoff.

The players who don't actually play are just extra money in the prize pool of that tournament. Whether the player shows up or not the $300 minus staff toke % goes into the prize pool. We do not keep the entire $350 as revenue if someone does not show up.

I see why you think this but once again its a 5 dollar rake and of the rake we put a percentage into promotions.. Its not a BBJ dollar.. We choose to run several promotions In my opinion taking part of rake to add extra promotions is a good thing. We could just keep the whole dollar right.. But Tab I value you opinion.. Promotions help bring in players and I am always willing to listen to player ideas.

Seriously, This will probbly be one of the rooms that will be more positively affected by the poker shut down. Quite a bit of the online grinders are 18-21, and will liken this to be a rare place for them to go. Get some non NLHE games going! BRING SOME STUD! :-P

A fat dealer threatened me and told me he hopes I lose my stack. He wasn't being all that serious, but it was kinda lame. I told the floor and am repeating it on here, regardless if people think I am making a big deal out of nothing.

I didn't tip one pot and someone asked why, so I explained that I am trying to make a small profit and if I was playing for recreation I would tip more often. I understand that talking about tipping at the table is bad, but I felt like I had to explain myself and I personally don't want to get into the routine of tipping just yet. The dealer was horribly mean to me after that.

That's baller. I don't know if I can make a small profit before tipping yet though, and I am trying to keep track of that by adding up my session's profit. After he threatened me he's obviously not getting tips in the future, so it's his loss

I know the deaer story and I agree no 1 shoud ever say they hope you lose your stack... But I will say I heard 3 versions of this story none from a staff member and they are way different then the one I am reading here..
