Hi mrmossy, I sent you a PM response. Breath is never wasted, I read every post and take valid suggestions seriously. We are/have been trying to change the starting chip amounts but approvals are still pending. We are on the same page with this point. There is no need for extra chips on the table to make change for the most part. In AC the floats are lidded and dealers deal over top of them....anyway please read the PM I sent you. Levels will pretty much stay the same but there should be some minor changes(chip amounts) by the next event in January! Hope you had an enjoyable time at the Super Stacks Series

Would that be more chips or fewer chips?

Hi sao, the chip issue that the previous poster was referring to is having more units, not larger starting stacks. So the answer would be stacks would stay at
$30,000 but the color (value) distribution would be more to prevent excessive check changing during the event.

I agree. The whole tournament should only use 25 unit chips. No change ever needed.

If you can't see how my structure changes help generate extra revenue for the poker room there isn't much more I can say. Good luck

agree that the first level in these tournaments is completely unnecessary and a waste of time, and with your point on starting chips

other then that i dont see a problem with the structure, playing 11- 1030 with a dinner break on day 1 seems pretty standard

I see this on the Turning Stone website: https://www.turningstone.com/uploads...kerweekend.pdf.

Winter Poker Meltdown, Jan. 5-8, event with $240 with a $50,000 guarantee.

Would anyone be interested in some sort of lowish stake mix of some sort anywhere from Monday-Tuesday (maybe late night)

Going to be in the Let It Ride tournament next week and might be looking for late night action. Maybe 4-8 limit? Would love HOSE if it was possible.

Its their year end one for players who qualified through 4 10's and above and not the monthly mini one.

My invitation says the 19th to the 21st.

Thanks much. I've been planning this since May when I hit the 4 aces. I'll have my wife with me so I think the poker plan is to just come on down at some point and just find a game.

I'll ask if I can throw something on the board and if people are interested it will be all good. If not, I'm sure something is always running.

You did give me a mini-heart attack this morning though =)

When I'm finally able to make the trip over, I'd love to play some 5/10-10/20 8game. You guys ever spread that?

Hi zoo, well we regularly spread 5/10 and 10/20 as a straight Hold-em game. If you want to play 8game we would have no problem spreading it, would be fun to see if there was any interest in the game!!!

Have some questions about the steakhouse

If I wanted a reservation for Thursday would it be too late to get?
What's an average price for a meal, no wine?
Good non beef options?
How do you even get there?

Re: The Steakhouse
I have never made reservations and have never had to wait to be seated in 15+ visits
With no drinks and no sides you might be able to eat for s little as $40, but i would say $80 per person or so would be average
I usually get steak, but the lamb chops are also very good. The mac and cheese on the side is too. Other people have also told me the fish and chicken options are good as well
Go to the front desk, walk to the left of it and there will be 4 elevators. The back left one takes you to the Steakhouse

Hi Jk,the Sat Night tournament is growing every week. This Sat night will be a bit different as we are having a special New Years Eve Tournament ...we are adding $1000 to the prize pool. Last year I believe this event had close to 100 entries. 7pm $140 buy-in. Hope to see you here!

Do poker tournaments count toward poker room rates?

Hi GWW, poker room rates are based on a minimum of 4 hours of Live cash play. Playing in the Daily Tournaments does not apply towards the poker rate. For our Guaranteed Tournament events we run throughout the year, we do have a Tournament rate which is the same as the poker rate. You will receive that rate for your stay if you register for and play in the Tournament. Thank you!
