When I read this, I realized I am a fossil. I enjoy country music and cannot find any in my home area anymore, so Loretta Lynn, Glen Campbell and Wynonna (and George Jones) are for me great entertainment. I hate most Rap and a lot of the new stuff too (Like Nikki Menaja??) So seeing them is fun for me. They even have Lewis Black!
Now Foxwoods is not bad for me either with Niel Sedaka, Toni Braxton & BabyFace, Paul Anka, Dierks Bentley and Daughtry. In all I think this is comparable.
Mohegan Sun doesn't offer me much as I have never even heard of most of the bands playing there (they do offer Orleans and Kevin James, Neil Diamond and Ringo Starr and Glen Campbell) but what is a Blink 182? And they have a opening act called the "All American Rejects." which I figure is just another Republican Presidential Primary debate..."
All I am saying is that I think TS is worth the trip (about an hour and a half more than Foxwoods from me). Despite my screen name, I am not a big South Jersey guy so I don't go to AC except to play cards. The MRS. hates it there. Hence if I am going with her, it is Sun, FOX or TS. I am going to look at the entertainment at the Pa. Casinos in the Poconos
One more thing TS has going for it; It plays its Heartland tour tourney around the same time as the NYS Fair. A lot of good country acts play there too and it is maybe 45 minutes or so from the casino.
Either way, it ain't no dump.
