KK in a splash pot today, big old Bruce, won it, short stacked with A,6 and slow rolled me when he hit trip sixes on the turn. Later, I made him pay for it when I rivered a straight and min raised him to $50 and he called. Poor old Bruce, really should have me figured out by now. Min raise bluff? Never.

There's a lot of good players at Del Sol that wont even play at my table. Not because I am a jerk, but because ... it's my table. That's actually what I would appreciate. You wanna come to my table ... be the new big kahuna? Prolly not a good idea. Bruce .... will never learn.

No pure no limit in casinos, but there are spread limit games both in Phoenix and Tucson. The key point is single bets are capped at $500, per state regulation.

Phoenix, best action is Casino Arizona Talking Stick. They have 3-5, with a 1K max buy in, 5-500 bet range, and 5-10 blind games with 2500 max buyin, same bet range of 5-500.

Casino del Sol, in Tucson, has 2-5 blind games, with a 500 max buy in mostly on weekends. Same 5-500 bet range.

Both places have smaller SL games as well, 1-2 and 2-3 blind games at CAZ and 1-2 and 1-3 blind games at Del Sol.

Will do, going to get a list started if no game. Local card sharks come on out Wednesday.

Hitting up Casino Arizona Thursday and Friday night as well.

Played there last night. Biggest game was 1/2 with a $200 max buy in. Players were friendly but most would only limp preflop and fold to any raise. A couple short stackers who would buy in for $60 and ride their chips all the way down limping to try and catch a flop. Saw several buy in 5 or 6 times. Played 4 hours and cashed up $225. Had my name on the 1/3 interest list and game never got off. For serious players wouldn't plan a trip here unless you are just in the area for other reasons.

Sorry the 1-3 did not get off, but not too surprised. The weekends are the only days that there is money in the room.

The 1-2 games are real soft as described, but I can't bring myself to sit there for very long.

In Tucson for the first time. So there's no 2/5 anywhere right? There's barely even any 1/2 it seems. Just 2 tables at Del Sol with a long waiting list. I guess I'm just spoiled

2-5 on weekends. We'll have a game Friday evening for sure, and my guess is it will go Saturday with the gem/mineral show getting going.

Depends on what you mean by "good games". There are no big games (at least that I know of) but the 1-2 and 1-3 games at Casino del Sol are decent games for that level.
