Action has been pretty good so far, a few new faces in there the last couple nights.

I played a little om the 21st four 1-3 tables and the high lo game were going till around 10 or 11 then 3 no limit when I got up around 2am when I was leaving the casino twenty the per room and they still had 2 tables with open seats. I heard the first weekend had a every table filled and a few of them were pretty deep

They unfortunately lowered the number of tables from 10 to 8 with the renovation (at least that's what they told me before moving to land...I haven't been there yet). When I asked them why...they said something about not having a lot of dealers anyway and that they never used more than 8 tables at one time.

Except I've been there to play MSPT satellites and super satellites and I know they had to use all of them to simultaneously deal cash and tournaments. It's pretty evident that poker isn't their prime directive. It's unfortunate because they are the only poker room in the area left and I think they could capitalize on it more if they wanted to.

I should be able to get there sometime this month...I'll keep you guys posted.

I have seen 8+ tables on weekends and almost every tournament nite of course combined
tournaments are supposed to drop a table or two with higher buyins and unlimited reentries as I have been told no solid info also those weekly turbos are going up a table and up $15 per entry witch should make a decent payout.it ashamed to see the two monthly tourneys drop a table as they were getting 100+ players most of the time but with a higher fee and unlimited reentries still should be good moneyed if they would start having a few more nitelys a month it may be better than before

Do they get the 10/20 limit game going during the week?

not seen 10/20 limit for a long time sometimes on a big nite some of the players would get one going for couple of hours I have not seen it since they left the water but I'm
not there at nite very often either
I don't think the 4/8limit plays except for Friday
and sometimes Saturday
mornings for a few hours

unless your talking Omaha I don't know for sure witch days that might play poker room

Limit Holdem games do not run here. The poker manager refuses to even make a 10/20 interest list.

Me too. Not sure if it will help or if they will be sold as CET (or whatever the new symbol will be) will own 5 properties in IN after the merger.

I haven't played poker here since before COVID but I was going to play because I have 3 shots. I just called and it looks like the poker room has been closed. Not sure if it's because of COVID or because the new company doesn't want it. It used to be Tropicana but now it's Bally's.

Kind of sucks for me because it was already a 90 minute drive and now I have to drive another hour to play at Southern Horseshoe.

If anyone knows the future of poker in this room, I would be interested to know. At the very least it would be nice to know if this is temporary or permanent.

Quick update: I played at Caesars Southern Indiana last weekend and there was a player who I had often seen at Tropicana (now Bally's) in Evansville. I asked him if he had heard anything about if or when the poker room might open up again. He said he had heard maybe 2023. I asked him if he knew why. He said he had heard there was a labor dispute about the union or something like that.

So, it's not particularly reliable or concrete, but I suppose it's better than nothing ...

Hello, after driving a few hours a handful of years ago to check out the Casino Poker Room during a very weak Tournament Series I personally would not go back no matter who bought it or owned it. If Bally's bought it then that's prob the last straw for that Poker Room forever.

someone started a poker club up in Henderson KY across the river its on poker atlas if you want to check it out I have not went there yet talked to a few that said the tournaments were small but decent for close by poker action. No news for Ballys resuming any poker

I heard through the grapevine that Bally's casino in Evansville is reopening in a couple of months but I am looking for corroboration. Does anyone have any information by chance?

Heard the same rumor about the Ballyspokeroom with a grand total of 4 table’s according to some not sure anything is reliable info yet

TriState Social is the room in Henderson I heard good things about it seem to run a lot of tournaments

I wonder if the poker raid they did on the illegal Evansville room is related to this or not.
