You are also qualifying for these along with the 40 hr/weekly for $400 requirement ( I think....please confirm T )
Unfortunately not...25 hour wheel spins have already ended, and the new promotion will be taking place of the freeroll. We will still continue to pay out high hand bonuses though.

Why would restricting the pay to NL games help avoid nittery? It is a lot easier/cheaper/more profitable to play NL as a nit than it is limit, IMO anyway.
I play NL like a nit and limit like a LAG, and do well at both (although I find NL very boring).

Because our room is mostly a no limit room anyways. Most of our tourists play no limit. If all the sudden we starting spreading limit games, you can be sure it's all local nits just folding their way to $$ and thus defeating the purpose of the promotion.

Everytime I look in the TI poker room, you have 1-2 tables running. Is this still true? Or is there a lot more now?

As someone who is primarily a live NL player, I love this.

I might just have to hop on a plane and crash on some guy's couch to do this.

Which is a local nit going to be more drawn to:

Paying ~$10/hour in folded blinds in a 1-2 NLHE (~30 hands/hour, nine-handed), with the opportunity to set-mine to stack tourists; or

Paying ~$30/hour in folded blinds in a 3-6 LHE game (~40 hands/hour, nine-handed)?

Given a choice, no nit in their right mind would pick a limit game over a no-limit one for this promotion.

Is anything official yet?

Also, are you planning on expanding your staff to be prepared for the anticipated influx of players?

Flyers will be printed within a week, at which time I will post all the important details of this promotion. We have enough dealers on staff who will be working a ton of hours at first. If things go as anticipated, I will be hiring more dealers in early January. We aren't adding any more management, our current managers are just going to have to work their butts off.

The numbers have changed. The original AVP post said:

Play 10 hours = $50
Play 20 hours = $150
Play 30 hours = $250
Play 40 hours = $400

This flier says:

Play 10 hours = $50
Play 20 hours = $125
Play 30 hours = $200
Play 40 hours = $300
Play 50 hours = $400
Play 60 hours = $599

You got cold feet?

Not cold feet. We decided to keep our high hand jackpots and also wanted to add a couple other things throughout the year.

These are weekly hourly totals right?

I heard you use to have Omaha high low, do you still spread it?

Yes, they are weekly totals.

We haven't spread a omaha high low game in awhile, but it has been part of the mix game more recently.

MSUspartan4,

Thanks for answering all my previous questions in PM. I figure I'll start asking them here so that hopefully they aren't duplicated for you.

Will there be a way for players to check their total hours during the week? I'd hate to lose out on a level because I forgot to subtract 15 minutes for going to the bathroom or something.

My pleasure! Yes, you can check your hours at the podium on a regular basis. Most players check them when they leave for the day.

Hopefully for awhile, but that depends on how successful it is.

God I wish I could be in Vegas in January. Sadly not until June. The uncap 2-5 sounds like it will be really good.
