I highly doubt Brantford would ever spread any game besides LHE. I just can't see it , but it would be really welcome! The game on Fridays at seneca is really juicy.

CNE 25-50, can't see it either. If the brantford regs were talking about this, how come it hasn't run for years there??

Brantford used to run an Omaha Hi game(still would if people wanna play), but the intrest in it just died off and it never runs anymore. That's why they're gonna try Hi/Lo now. They're gonna start running it soon for sure, but I dunno how long it'll last. I'd guess it'll die off shortly just like the Omaha Hi did before. Doesn't seem like there's enough interest in different games here. Player pools are getting smaller as it is just for Hold 'Em.

No idea what stakes they're gonna be running when it first starts. I'll post as soon as I find out. Once the Hi/Lo gets going they might be bringing in Pineapple as well. That's not confirmed though. A couple pit managers have just mentioned that they're thinking about it. I really hope that doesn't happen though. I think Pineapple is just a silly home game.

Can anyone tell me when the next tournament in a toronto area casino will be (fallsview, Rama, The Indian Casino (I think its called Blue Heroin))? I am wondering if there are any tournaments with a greater than $500 buy-in any time soon?

Only Fallsview spreads 5/10NL and it only spreads probably on weekends. There are no legal casinos in Toronto except for 5 weeks in August and early September at the CNE grounds.

Here are a few hotels:
Fallsview Casino Resort, 1-866-5-POKER-5

If you will be grinding at Fallsview, you can just walk down to the poker room and won't need a car most days. Many local players don't like the level of service in the poker room compared to US casinos.

Going to N Falls on the way to moving to toronto tomorrow. I've heard it's really difficult to get into the 10/20 nl game at fallsview is this true? What time does it usually start at on weekends and what is the best way to ensure I get a seat? Thanks.

No it's not hard. It is IMPOSSIBLE. The list get's huge and no one ever moves. Your best bet is to call in a few times that day, say starting at noon. Start the list if they haven't started it yet. Sometime between 4pm-7pm the game will usually start.

Yes, all the cash games are limit. The only no limit games in Brantford are the tourneys.

Yeah, I'm pretty doubtful about it as well. Everyone lost intresest in Omaha when they tried that before too. People just play when it's something new and then go back to Hold 'Em. I don't think the Hi/Lo or the Pineapple will be much different, but we'll see.
