Try any of the motels off the tourist trap area. I paid 40 Canadian for a night a couple of years ago. It shouldn't be much more.

true, but expect the worst night sleep of your life. uncomfortable beds, loud noises. try a famous discount website and book through there for the chains in the area.

Not all of us would consider those Branford limit games so "lol". The 20-40 has, over the years, certainly been juicy. And the same can be said about Great Blue Heron to the east of TO. (Though I haven't played in either for a while: I hate the drives. But I expect to get back to both at least once in a while later this year--once the snow season is over.)

As I said, I haven't been in a while but my memory is that most would make a first buy-in for around 800-1k. (Often twice that in the 20-40 Omaha game when it was hot; I think it dwindled away though.)

Obviously stack size doesn't matter as much in limit.

10/20 or 20/40 with a kill is a hell of a game....

I'd say average buy-in for the 20/40 is about 1k. I regularly play the 10/20 and average buy in is about $500.

3.

2 Canadian side
Casino Niagara
Fallsview Casino

1 American side
Seneca

I know nothing about Seneca except for free booze, in Canada you pay for your alcoholism.

Only Casino Niagara spreads 1-2

Fallsview spreads, 2-5, 5-10 5-5 PLO (high only) and a few higher limits if there's interest.

Casino Niagara and Fallsview don't have regular tournaments, Seneca does.

Hope that helps.

I play here all the time in the Summer time. Max buy in is 200, lots of regs during the week and weekend filled with more tourists. Action is pretty lose, just choose a good table.

glad to hear Casino Niagara games are so beatable.
I've recently moved here and am looking to start playing 1/2.

I wonder if those cheap bus routes are worth it instead of the hassle of driving down ( I still can't handle TO traffic)

Can someone explain how the PAC works at the Fallsview poker room? I saw people giving their cards at the desk, do you get points for playing? How do they know when you leave?

5$ each way with Safeway tours if you have a PAC card from Fallsview/Niagara

Was there last night. Games are still soft! Plus they have done some little renovations to the room. Same old crew that is usually there everyday lol. Place is basically a clubhouse full of the same old faces.

This is honestly the only useful thing I've found with Fallsview PAC cards for poker players. I just swipe in/out to get free parking.

I've never really heard of anyone getting free meals solely from Poker play.

Thnx for the update. I'll try to give it a try in March. Did you play the 20-40?

I see a couple Brantford players in here. I used to play $10/$20 there quite a lot, but I haven't played there in a long time. Is there still a tiny asian super LAG there named Jason who plays every day? Anyone who played there often must know who he is, lol. He was fun to play with.
