You're acting like they are kids who pitched a tent in the backyard. The room is similar to the covered practice fields NFL teams have. It's both heated and air conditioned.

I've been there when the temperature dipped into the 40s, it's just as comfortable as any other poker room. Another non issue. If you don't like ugly ceilings then don't play here, otherwise chill out.

That's casinos in general. I did hear a floor guy say the other day that they turned "down" the AC (boosted the cool) because some folks said it was too hot. But again, it was 65 outside. Now, I doubt being too hot is an issue. No one wants it too warm; it makes you you drowsy. I have enough trouble paying attention as it is (getting old), so rather it be a bit cool than hot.

Agree about the ceiling, it is what it is. But on the other hand, the sound seems a bit muted because of the building materials, which gives it a nice hushed sound. At least I thought so. The chargers are great too, forgot to mention. And being short, not an issue when seated with 9 (lined up between cupholders).

If you can't spot the fish here I got some bad news for you. My sample size of about 15hrs over 3 days I've seen maybe 2 other competent players at 1/2. I got 225bb in pre with KK and got called by AJo who called with about 200bb. I count down the seconds until I can comeback and play at this goldmine.

Except most other poker rooms have a bathroom.

I noticed a surprising amount of all-in bets and calls in just two hours, more than at Borgata or Harrahs, at 1-2NL. Did AJo three-bet you? You shoved and he called?

I was utg and raise to $12. V1 flats with $350 behind V2 raises to $55 with about $120 left. Action gets back to me so I shove $420 to isolate V2. I end up getting snap called by V1 and V2 folds.

V1's AJo spikes an ace and scoops about $755.

Yeah and the bathroom is just as close as it is to half the tables at parx. If I have to be outside for ten seconds and take a ~2 minute walk to take a piss in order to have a poker room less than a mile from my house, I can deal with that until the permanent room is built.

He's just being a hater. Anyone who has played there realizes the bathroom is no worse than borgata or Harrahs in terms of distance

I don't think the issue is the length of the walk, it's having to walk outside. Maybe not that bad now, but winter's coming. There will be times when you'll have to run through snowstorms, freezing rain, or windy sub-zero nights.

You just have to make a decision. Do you like the room enough to put up with the minor inconvenience until the permanent room is built? It seems like, for most people on here, the answer is yes. If you think it's not worth it, find another room.

For me ugly ceilings are a deal breaker. I'll never play there.

Is there any chance of putting up a temporary covered walkway from the poker room to the restrooms? It doesn't have to be a permanent structure... just a tarp covered walkway.

Haven't been to SH yet, but I will check it out around the Holiday season when I get free time. Are there alot of smoke(from smokers) drifting into the poker room from other area of the casino?

None. It's a separate building. You will always have the smoke smell attached to people who step outside for a smoke, but that's unavoidable.

And as in every other smoke free building in the world there are always 8 people smoking 1 step out the door.
