Rumor has it that the main event is going to be an $1,000+$100 500K GTD

And apparently it is a 2-3 week long series with guarantees on most events.

Aww man!! Getting eyes operated on 2moro and they are saying 4-6 weeks til healed fully. Can someone tell me grand opening? I will sneak over. + moms wants to check out the casino. The promo for slots is - play $10, get $25.... will she be able to use the $25 that day or does she have to wait for another day to use it?

went over there at about 7pm, only had about 9 tables in room and like 29 people on the list for 1/2, 25 for 1/3.

heard from a reliable source that the room opens tomorrow, not sure if that means 12 midnight or 12 noon.

the new room looks nice they were currently moving tables in when i looked.

from what i know the 28 tables in the new room seems small. last friday i went when they were having a 500 half hour high hand and the room (tent) was packed, at least an hour wait for any table.

I think taking the bad beat jackpot away, or at least cap it, in favor of high hands they will pack the room, which is great but i like to sit within the hour of getting there.

Spoke with an employee at Sugarhouse

They said the new poker is open and they will be having a kick off ceremony on March 23rd to celebrate the new room and they will be hosting the poker night classic tournament series.

My only concern with the new room, which is why I liked the tent, is the constant news from the casino. I hope that it is far enough away where I do not have to hear the constant slot machine news.
