Wow. Just wow.

The Lumiere staff is fine. The dealers are ample, the facility is grand, the location is ideal and the games are pretty good. Comps are unsurpassed for poker players. The Charlotte FatMan story does not surprise me. He is accurate that many dealers should concentrate more and talk less. I have always found 95% Lumiere's staff to be pleasant and competent. BUT there are a few Floor Staff that consistently ruined my gaming experience. I played Lumiere daily for 150 days. I do not play there anymore for whatever reason. While I played there, there were many floormen I admired and respected. Jerry and Jim are very qualified and came from the President. Don does a good job and exhibits a lot of poker common sense. Larry, Jonathan and Rob are all good guys and always provided me with very good service.

I do not know who the poster IRL is, so I am at a lost. I was quoted, then he called the Lumiere dealers 'my dealers', claimed poster bias and then went on some long hot winded BS line about policing 'angle shooters'.
Where did that come from and why?
A case could be made that it may have been directed at me. Half of his post was about the subject of 'angle shooting' and if you were led to believe it a 'general description' of how the room was run...I don't get it. THAT is a top priority at Lumiere? His post exhibits the flawed mindset of some of the employees who dictate policies in that room.
In all honesty, Lumiere reminds me of Harrahs Saint Louis in it's hey day. The best house, the best dealers (making a big toke rate) and a lot of wise ass kids making some real money. They think they know poker, but they probably were living with thier mommy and daddy last summer or have been in Poker for just a few years. Lumiere is and will always be
Peyton Place That is because too many employees are inexperienced, gossip too much and are not even qualified to be in the positions they are employed in.
It is an official Pinnacle Entertainment hiring policy...
