Having recently moved to the area from AC, I'd say the biggest difference in play isn't in the quality of the regs, but in the absence of drunk ATMs stumbling into the room - which makes a huge difference. I've been used to a room where kids would come out of the club where they were pissing away money on bottle service, and getting a few buy-ins from them on a Saturday night was beyond child's play. The games here seem beatable, but it does require a bit of effort here, and marginal players (of which I'm probably one; make that definately one), are in the back of the line, as there is less completely dead money around.

Did you guys get that 8-16 LHE going at River City yesterday (Friday, 9/23)? I've been wanting to play that, but haven't been there when it's going. What chips are they using in that game? $2 chips or just combo of white/red? Thanks for the info. It would be nice to make this a regular weekly game if it is not already trending that way.

this is what separates lumiere from the rest of the rooms because of its proximity to the landing/wash ave and the sporting venues.

I believe it went for a little bit, but not very long. By the time I got there it had shrunk to a 6/12 game. Its currently a white/red game, but my understanding is that $2 chips will be allowed in general usage next week.

Thanks. I assume you don't know which one. There are a few that play pretty reg there. That is good though, because that money is in play.

NO, you should travel more. STL has tougher games then anywhere I've played live, sure you get a tourist here and there at Lumiere but last few times I've been I def wouldn't say that the game could not be softer, that's absolutely ******ed.

Can we play the 8/16 game on Saturdays and not Fridays. I would play in it every Saturday if it was on Saturdays.

People try to get it going both days. There is usually a consistent 7-8 names on the interest list. Whether it runs or not depends on getting those last 2-3 players.

maybe if the regs werent so ignorant/stubborn about playing shorthanded it would, then very likely to pick up more players/

Heads up: if you are on Facebook and Like the Lumiere and River City pages, they are both giving away free buffets right now. All you have to do is enter in your My Choice # and an email address.

What about 6/12 w/ a half kill? That should still be BBJ eligable? I have to take weekends off for the next two months, and plan on spending my time at RC
