I am going to be in St Louis early next week and am wondering if it’s likely for Hollywood to have a 2-5 or 5-10 game on Monday and Tuesday night with the HPT in town?

Thanks

I would say it is very likely there will be at least a 2-5 game on both nights. There were a few running on opening Thursday night

Will no limit games 5/10 or bigger run daily at Ameristar during the WSOP circuit coming up in a few weeks? I’ve never played here and was thinking of visiting but I don’t want to be stuck playing 2/5.

Does the Ameristar have shuttles to any offsite hotels? Some seem too close to uber but too ehhh to walk at night

Gonna make a return to the tables tonight for a bit with the wife out of town. Hollywood still the place to be for low limit NLHE action?

Yes, Hollywood will have the most tables running for 1/2 NL

Hey guys- just moved to STL. I’ve read back through the forum and can’t find much about mixed games. Someone mentioned a 7-game mix - does that still run? Where and limits? Sounds like there’s an o8 game at either Ameristar or Hollywood? 4/8 hk? Days/times?

Thanks all

I haven’t seen a 7 game mix. $4/8 O w/ hk runs at Ameristar, usually earlier in the day, not sure on times.

One thing you need to factor in is that Hollywood plays Eddie Murphy’s ‘Party All the time’ at least 3 times a day.

4/8 hk O8 runs on Fridays at ameristar at 9am(call in time 6am) and Sundays at Hollywood at 12pm(call in time 10am).

6/12 hk runs on saturdays at Hollywood at 3pm(call in time 1pm). This is relatively new within the past month as they were previously playing 4/8 at ameristar but wanted to play higher.

Ameristar also plays a $1/2/10 Big O game that is a lot of fun.

I've called the poker room several times since yesterday and it just rings.

I went on opening day to check things out. Was told that poker was at least several more weeks away from opening as they figure out how to run things. As far as the rest of the casino the table games limit the number of players per table so it’s just of bunch of people waiting around hoping a spot opens somewhere. And half the slot machines are turned off. Not sure if any of this has changed since last Monday but I won’t be back until the poker room opens.

I played this morning from 8-1. They had two 3/6 games which turned into one around 11 or so. Then around 12 they opened a 1/2 game.

As far as the rules: rake is now $5 (which sucks) no chopping of the blinds, no food vouchers, two missed blinds, no dinner breaks(if you go eat you can be out on top of the list). Not sure about the number of tables allowed but the 10 as stated in the previous post is probably right or close to it.

Appreciate the trip report. Glad to see poker restarting in the 314. Will be interesting to watch this develop over the next few weeks & months.

Thanks for the info. Didn't see anything on Bravo so wasn't sure if they got anything going today.

Basically. Although a lot of the old timers are still staying away due to not liking 6 handed play and probably because of virus concerns. I went back today and several people who were there yesterday didn’t show up today. And these are people who play pretty much daily. Because of this it took longer for the first 3/6 game to start. It finally started around 9am while the first 1/2 NL game started about an hour or so afterwards. That game was filled with faces I wasn’t familiar with, so probably Hollywood players.

I personally enjoy 6 handed play. Unfortunately I ran like crap these last two days but that’s the story of my poker life! The rake is oppressive though.

Hey Greg!
