cliffs: Probably the worst casino poker experience i ever had. feels like a troll tbh



couple of days ago i was playing a 5/5 game at Spielbank Berlin Potsdamer Platz (I have only played there once before), when i asked the floor to change table.

I told him, i was willing to either play 10/10 or a 2/4 game and he told me, he was going to start a 10/10 soon. I would not be able to sit in a 2/4 game unless i would LEAVE the table im sitting at first and wait for 30mins.
So i left my seat, sat at 10/10 and waited for the game to start. But nobody showed up.
Meanwhile, my seat at 5/5 was given to another player.


So i asked the floor to just seat me anywhere, preferably at one of the 3! open 2/4 seats and he told me that i would still have to wait for 30mins.

Afterwards, i got to know, that the 10/10 wasnt running all weekend and that most of the players on said 10/10 list were already sitting at the 5/5 i was at.
the floor has to have known this.
also Regulars seem to have no problem changing tables.


THESE GUYS AT SPIELBANK BERLIN dont give a single **** about players!

Moreover they have a ridiculous rakecap of 30€. their rake table works out to be something like 7-8% for most potsizes.

Did you play the tournaments (WPT) - how were they run?

The first time i played a tournament there was 2 years ago when they hosted the WSOPE event. That one was run very poorly. With many inexperienced dealers, bad service etc.

This year, they hve hired external dealers and tournament staff. Basically the same faces, you see at austrian capt events and sometimes ept events. Those guys are doing a good job.
The service is still pretty bad tho.
