Finally have significant tournament poker coming back to Shreveport/Bossier.

Hopefully the turnout is good

Going to be in Shreveport this weekend. Any PLO going anywhere? Where is the action?

Thanks!

Have not been personally post COVID but from those I know who have it seems Ballys (old el Dorado) has taken much of poker action from the Shoe. This includes the Thur limit/mixed game. But also fair chunk of the action has stayed in some home games post COVID.

Shoe still gets games and per Bravo sometimes has more games than Ballys but is the smaller room now.

PLO not my game but don’t see lots of it at either room routinely.

Thanks for the info. Staying at Horseshoe but will check Bravo when there to see which is best. March Madness weekend so hopefully some good late night action at one of the places.

Bull,
The Horseshoe runs a 5/5 1/2 & 1/2 (nl and plo) game on Saturdays that starts as the tournament tables break down (approximately 8:00pm). Not always, but often this game also goes on Friday evening as well. The downside is that the room closes at 3:50am on those nights. Conversely, Bally's has a 1-2 $5 bring in PLO on Fridays and the room is open 24/7 everyday. As many have reported, the games in Louisiana and Texas tend to play bigger than in many other areas (So. Cal, Las Vegas, etc.) so plan accordingly.
Goodluck!

One more note. The nl games are $100 to match the stack and can get pretty big. Case in point, Tuesday night at Bally's we switched to a 1-3nl no-cap and the big stack was $20k! Plenty of others had between $1 and 5k. Game went all night (I left for work at 9:15am and it was full). Both the 1/2 & 1/2 games at Horseshoe and the $1-2 $5 bring in PLO at Bally's are $500 min with no max.

Bull’s normal game isHouston PLO. Definitely aware of local game size and depth.

Fore,
Right, there is nothing like those Plo games at Legend's and other places in H-Town. The games are solid 24/7 there, just wish it wasn't so damn dangerous. I have switched to Dallas (TCH) strictly for that reason.
