To continue to give more play? Why else? The reason people came and played the sat 15K in chips is because they thought they would get more play.

My point was that there is no reason to change the structure if you are selling out the tournament or at least close to selling it out. Making the structure slower only makes the poker room make less money. Obviously the better tournament players benefit from extra levels but the room does not necessarily.

I agree with dudeman. If the structure allowed for more play (and thus gave the more skillful players an advantage) there is no way I would luckbox my way to the FT every once in a while

I'll be at the Showboat poker room, likely tonight and Saturday. Hopefully there will be some good games, given the Bad Beat being so high...

long time lurker here, but play at the showboat every so often. after a nice short session of 1/2 tonight, i came up about $460, and chatted it up with rod (early 20's phillies hat, good tipper ) and just wanted to reiterate how good a dealer mike is. a big thumbs up and hope to be back soon

Yep. AAAJJ vs. JJJJ. Afternoon yesterday maybe around 3? I don't really remember. I wasn't at the table but the information tends to get around.

To confirm for everyone: to qualify for the Showboat BBJ now, you must have quads or better and lose, right?
