Don't think the action was too slow this weekend, even w/ the weather.. And there was pretty big tourneys/sattys going on @ the B this past weekend, This coming weekend should still be pretty good...
BTW just got on here, semi -regular @ the boat, Some of the Mike's Might recognize me ( the Stocky Guy in the red "speaker city" T-shirt that 2 dealer Mike's commented on last weekend... and the guy sitting on >2k @ 1/2 for most of the nite this saturday ( thinly veiled brag)

I am fairly certain that one of these other big tourneys at the Boat fell on the same day as a WPT event. I don't think it hurt the action. Might even have helped cause the good players were at Borgata but the fishies were swimming the little pond we all love.

Also, I've been to the Boat a buncha times and I still have no frikkin clue who Rod is. At least now I know he's one of the Mikes. Tho I do feel kinda silly having walked around all the tourney tables in the Ballroom last time looking for a dealer named Rod lol. It is lookin more and more likely I'll make it down on Saturday so maybe I'll finally figure it out

I've met a few 2+2'rs, but only one I've spent any kinda time chattin to is Beau.

I have short dark hair and wear thin wire rimmed glasses. I have a goatee but I despise shaving so I'll very likely be a bit scruffy. My standard uniform is slacks and a polo shirt so come say hi!

I am heading to AC today, and will be in town until at least Saturday. I will be staying at Bally's, playing there and at the Boat, maybe some Caesar's.

If anyone spots my Wooden King, then there should be a list of interest already running for PLO. However, since I know that Bally's floor guys will offer huge comps to get that game going, I may spend less time than usual at the Boat.

Actually we could get somewhat of a "perfect storm" this weekend at the boat regarding the cash games....

Storm 1 - As players bust out of 225+25 Tournament, they will be looking for cash game.

Storm 2 - Bad Beat Jackpot is currently over $105,000 (unless its been hit since sunday), if it doesn't hit before the weekend, we should be looking at a $120K BBJ which will drive players

Storm 3 - Yes the WPT is at Borgata, but that just brings more people into town, and regardless of where they are staying, that is always good for all poker rooms in town.

With all these factors (especially the BBJ) we could see a rockin' and rolling room at the boat.

All we need now is for the Floor people to do the following when someone comes to the podium:

"yes, we have 2/4 LHE and 1/2 NLHE, there are lists for both and I will put you on them, but we also have much shorter lists (or open seats) for 2/5 NLHE, 1/2 PLO, etc..."

If the staff at the podium does a little selling I wouldn't be suprised if we get a bunch of good games going.....

Also you have to factor in, its very possible imo that the 75k guarantee is going to have an overlay. Get your butts over here on Saturday and get a piece!

You need 334 people to cover the guarantee. Every big tourny there has had > 400 players with ease. I really doubt there will be an overlay.

We will see, but time for a roll call who is coming down this weekend? Who is playing the PLO game? Can we get a semi-set start time (I hope at least 1 of you get deep in the tourney)?

I'm checking in and will be arriving Saturday morning for the tourney, if I bust out early I'll play some NL cash and then return back to NYC later that evening.

My omaha game is probably +EV for the boat but I am a nit and would rather stick to NLHE.

Just wanted to introduce myself as I've been playing the boat for the last few weeks after playing Borgata pretty exclusively. I've been pretty regular at the 1/2 NL tables over the last few weeks so some of us might have crossed paths.

Apparently everyone who plays at the Boat is in this thread. I'm gonna have to drop 100 "Sup Bro?"s next time I'm there.

I've been coming for the last two months. About 6'1", dark short hair, late 30's, 265lbs (not fat). Played some long overnight sessions...always cashed except once. Been playing 1/2 and scoping the what looks to be juicy 5/5 game. People at my table are always speculating or asking what I do for a living (I guess I look the part), much to the amusement of a young dealer whose name I can't remember.

I think Michael with the short curly hair would know exactly who I am. What page do you describe yourself? I'll definitely make it a point to say hello. I'll probably be there this weekend.
