Wait, what? If you never ever fold quads it is probably no worse than a small mistake. Maybe only if there is a 4 card SF on board (in HE).

There has to be a good story behind that fold.

I was thinking the same thing, but the only time I ever play Omaha is goofing around online. Even in Omaha, I would have a hard time folding quad 10s. I would like to hear about that hand as well.

no good story , sorry, just drunk on labor day and worded it wrong. folded bottom set on flop and river was quad card. TTQ8, flop comes TKA, pot then repot before it gets to me, obv fold, both have broadway, river comes Ten of course.

Headin up to the boat in 2 weeks, has there been any 5/10 limit going lately? Ive had to go to the Taj the last few times to find that, but..so dirty...uhhg

I have only seen it go once, if you wanna build some interest in the game you can try and get it going here otherwise pray really hard.

Got it running last night 930-330. Some more locals in the game and double comps. Some of the locals wanted to play more often so we might be able to get it going more often. I will check every weekend at the boat now. I am out for 2 weeks while i deal the open.

Shadow - it was nice to meet you.

Rod - you did a fantastic job dealing Omaha - whether it was your first time or not.

Def. a good time playing live Omaha for the first (and second) times ever. Felt really good to break up the holdem.

I am really looking forward to playing Omaha online a lot more now. I'm not sure when I will be back at the Boat, but I hope to get the 1-2 PLO going again when I'm there. Double comps FTW! (Thanks Kellie!)

Mixed game sounds great...I will be down the next two weekends.....

The weekend after next should be a good bet to get some action going as the $250 tournament (9/13/08) will be going and by 4-5p should have a lot of players (who have busted out) looking to get into some games.....

We offered double comps on all Omaha games on Sunday night. There was a 2/4 O8 game for a few hours and a 1/2PLO game from 9pm-whenever. So the 2/4 players made $1 per hour and the PLO players were getting $2 per.

To clear up the confusion: we never actually got the mixed game going. We got a $1-$2 PLO game going. It was a $100 min / $500 max.

Yea it was an Omaha 8 game.

I figured I would remind everyone about the 225+25 75k guarantee coming up next Sat, the 13th gl everyone that is planning on being there.

Also the bad beat is at 100k if not its at like 99.8.

Regarding getting a PLO or Mixed game going....I will be in town this weekend, when I get to poker room I will start a list or add my name to list if one is already started.....

We may be able to get a game going the next weekend....people will be around for the $225+25 $75K guarantee tournament as well as people being around in general because of the WPT over at Borgata....

If people are going to be around that Friday night (9/12/08), go ahead and PM me and I'll try and coordinate something.....

This is funny, I meet you live first and we have a greet on a internet. And no, but we are going again soon.

I am not getting paid extra. I want the room to do well, I love where I work, I love the people I work with. If the room is busy I will make my "bonus" for all the work I put in here.

and I just like seeing the room being a success especially when I had a part in it. Felt really good when we got the PLO game going, I was super proud. BTW I got 1 more person to start coming to the game. I told him dont come this weekend but next weekend it should be a go.

I am going to say I doubt it, but I am going to say def for next sat. This weekend a few of the regs that got the game going wont be able to make it they said, so it will be hard to get the game off. Once it is off a few NL stragglers stop in but it might be a stretch to get it going tonight, possibly sat night. I would call in and see how long the list is before you stop in.
