I think dueces was saying that there was a "5/10nl, 5/10plo, 15/30 limit Holdem, 15/30 limit o8 mix" game going on. It was all one game rotating games per orbit or length of time or whatever (as far as I understand this)

Does anyone know the avg entrants in the nightly tournies here?

depending on the night, they end up with 40-60 entries most nights (some are "re-entries" from people if they bust out during the first hour).

They've been doing 10-person $35 cold hands for seats into the main event during the start of the daily tournaments. They've also been doing $10 and $20 10-person cold hands for vouchers for any of the series events.

Glad to see this place is still surviving in spite of Hollywood... I honestly thought it was going to close within a few months of the casino opening but they still draw decent crowds.

Tonight has $8-16 HORSE starting at 6:30pm and a $50+7 NLHE tourney at 6pm (plus optional $5 dealer appreciation for extra chips, I think).

The HORSE game is a lot of fun, good way to change things up from just playing NL.

Did anyone play the monster stack on Friday? I really wanted to play but had to go out of town for Father's Day.

They have another deep stack event on the 28th:

It says 20K chips but it's actually 25K with the $5 dealer appreciation. $200 is the total if you include the dealer appreciation and the bonus board jackpot (high hands aces full of jacks or better).

Has the HORSE game been running regularly? Think it will run this Wednesday?

I don't think they've missed one yet. Sometimes it takes a little bit to get rolling though. If everyone just showed up it'd get off earlier, but the hesitation from everyone perpetuates the game starting later than it should.

I am heading over at 7 to play the donkament and then after busting out I plan on playing HORSE. I have never played HORSE before so there will be at least one fish at the table. I made a couple hundred at MGM Detroit this weekend, so come and get it!

I can only play in one. I'll be in the Saturday one. Should be a good turnout.

A good time was had by all. ;-)

Fri and Sat night had tourneys with guarantees of $10K. Fri night was something like $27K in the end, and Sat was close to $20K (I think, not as sure of my memory of that number). Seminars were well attended, and feedback was good. Hopefully we can do it again soon.

Thanks, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Let's keep this joint alive! The LAST thing anyone in C-Bus needs is for Hollywood to become the only game in town. Do they still spread PLO?

No the game died off when the casino opened and the 13k plo badbeat also disappeared along with the game. If it gets going again you should ask for that badbeat to be put back into play.

I played the Friday event and that was the busiest I have seen the club in many months. Let's hope this is the beginning of a revival for the club. I hate going to the casino and paying rake, but we all know people will go where the action is. Let's keep it at the shark tank!

Thanks Greg for doing this event and being such a good sport. I did not attend the training sessions but heard from several who did that said it was well worth it.
