Seneca Niagara? Seneca Niagara?

I saw a thread on Niagara Falls in general but nothing really on Seneca Niagara in particular. Anyone played there who wouldn't mind sharing his or her opinion? Thanks!

main games are $1-2 $100 max, $1-2 $200 max, and $2-5 $500 max. I think they also have a small limit game that runs ($3-6 or so). Occasional bigger games, but a room reg will have to chime in with those details. They also have a number of tournies, though canadians often complain that all cashes come with a mandatory IRS witholding for them.

Games are somewhat smaller because of the buy-ins and usually don't play too deep, but skill level is like $1-2 and $2-5 everywhere.

Thanks dinesh. How about the friendliness/service of the staff? Are they nice to the players? Are there free soft drinks/food etc? (I don't do alcohol)? Is the rest of the casino a nice place to walk around?

Disclaimer: I am related to one of the dealers.

The staff is great. The dealers are almost uniformly competent, and some are exceptional, and many are fun/funny without slowing anything down. No shufflers, so they do everything by hand, and I'm sometimes annoyed at the time wasted counting down the deck and the rack every new down.

The floor are adequate, but sometimes distracted. The brush runs the board manually on a whiteboard, but is generally on top of things. There are a lot of regs, so if you're not one of them, it sometimes feels like you're on the outside looking in, but I've never seen anything shady going on.

Free drinks. No free food.

The casino was built inside what used to be the convention center (I think), so it's not really much to look at if you just want to stroll. There are some decent restaurants inside, though. Outside is kinda gross unless you head over to the falls. The canadian side has a better view, unfortunately.

thanks dinesh. I'll be in Rochester NY on business and if I end up staying over a weekend I may make the 2-hour drive to play some poker.

I'm about 1 hour and a half from Seneca Niagra, and have played there only once this year. Good games there were 3 2/5s and a few 1/2s. Cash plays on the table at lesat on the 2/5 which is new for me but not a problem.

I don;t know how deep the 2/5s get because when I bought in for the full amoun t of 500 I got a few looks/comments about buying in deep LOL.

thinking of taking a weekend kinda trip here. I am in a wheelchair and I was wondering if it was a spacious room? Most are spacious enough for me to move comfortably and without fear of running into people and breaking stuff. However, some are like Bellagio which I have seen and didn't even consider entering.

I wouldn't call it spacious, but they should be able to accommodate you no problem.

Hey question on Seneca Niagara poker room points.

I played quite a bit from like April-July and had some points on my card and think only thing you could get was like a gas card or w.e

But what I want to know is do those points expire? Or will they still be on my card next time I go to the poker room?

Think I had like $100 or so that I accumulated throughout my sessions.

Thanks!

If they have the same rules on comps as they had before, the comps are good for as long as the room is still running. Also unless they have changed the rules they are only good for food at one of the restaurants and can only be cashed out in increments not what a specific meal costs.
