Yeah, this happened last Friday night. I was in seat 5 or 6 at the table, it was a 2/5 game, and [name removed] was the dealer. We had 2 revolving seats & 2 seats that stayed empty for about 2 hours at which point we asked the dealer if we could get those seats filled since they had started 3 more 2/5 games while those 2 seats remained empty. So the dealer stopped one of the "Floors" (older, short, blonde haired lady) and explained the situation. Her response was "Oh yeah, oh well...", the dealer was completely embarrassed!
The funny thing is I was telling the story to another player Saturday night & the dealer at the time knew all the details and said they heard the story from [name removed] the night before on their break. This story is making it's way around the room pretty fast! lol
Friday night was ridiculous all together! Shortly after that first story unfolded I moved to a 1/3 table and witnessed a dealer (old, tall, European guy, don't know his name) get called out on raking $7 each pot on a few different pots. Then after a few dealer rotations, I had a dealer forget to make change on folded blinds 3 times.
Last week it was hard returning from playing in the quality & service oriented Vegas rooms (Bellagio, Aria, & Venetian) to playing in a room (THR) where the mentality is "if you don't like it, play somewhere else, & good luck finding action else where!"
