lesson learned let the third party players hold the money dont leave on table and trust the person wont snatch it back
my friend was one of the guys who he bet 500 with.

he wasnt to happy

should be fun when i play with him the next time. will be constantly messing with him/slowrolling him etc

That's awesome. They should make the 10/20 uncapped now, and the 2/5 $1k max

I heard they have already starting building the new poker room. Its near the smoke shop. I never go back there so havnt seen whats going on.
I heard December 3rd it will open. It will be some kind of temp building maybe like the new blackjack building.
Not sure how many tables. As long as it has AC, New Carpet, Wifi, and new 55inch TV's.
I will be happy. Ive got a feeling the wifi signal wont reach back there tho.

Nah, Hans Gruber's the terrorist, that's the guy who's trying to hit on McClane's wife and almost gets busted doing coke early on. Not sure what dealer looks like that guy though...

I obviously know this because I watched Die Hard like 5000 times when I was a kid. His name was Harry Ellis in the movie.

I know which dealer your talking about, I forget his name though. I'll try to snap a picture of him if I see him next time I am out there.

Can someone tell me about how long the tournaments take on Wednsday and Thursdays maximum time to completion the 12:30pm and 7:30pm MTTs?
Trying to plan a trip down to see a friend and going either Wed or Thu depending on what info I can dig up. Also if you know which is a better day to play on and why that is would be helpful. I am assuming you can just buyin and sit with no hassle or gamecard or anything hopefully.

You do need a playersclub card to play. These small tourneys have only been getting 20-45 players and the structure sucks. Less than 51 and it only pays 5 spots.
Your better off just playing some 1/2nl or higher.

Now there's a shocker......

What happened? Or didn't happen, as the case may be?

Played in this game for awhile. Was wearing a black hoodie with a company logo on it. I was keeping quiet. Made a fairly good take. Fun game because half the table didn't know basic PLO strat. First time playing PLO at HR and I have one complaint.... many dealers were a bit slow. No biggie though.

You cant tip the floor people at HR. They will get fired. They cannot accept tips.

i would tip the brushes so i wouldnt have to wait in line for a game, and they would usually find me a seat within 5 mins. dont think the brushes are considered floor. talk to pete, tip him a couple bucks, he usually takes care of me

I assume you're talking about supervisors and not brushes. Brushes take tips all the time.

In most casinos they call the supervisors "floor". Like, Floor on table 4.
At HR they just call them supervisors. so thats where the mix up if any is.
Yes, Supervisors at HR cannot accept tips. Anyone else that works there does.

My bad, I was talking about brushes. Not "floor". Some of them are total ******s. It was late. Now I'm hyped up on coffee so I understand.

FYI I heard the new poker building will have at least the same amount of tables as it does now. No concensus on when it will open.

I just hope they open the room and couple it with a big "no flop no drop" celebration.

Heres how it went down. I went up to the brush stand and got one of the girls to call over a supervisor so I could get a food comp.
Here at the HardRock, the food vouchers dont produce any change, so if you ask for a $10 comp and the food is only $7, the other $3 gets used, but you get nothing in return.

So I wanted to go get food at the pizza place, and then a shake at the icecream place after I was done. So Lou walked up there and I asked for 2 comps, one for $8 (pizza) and one for $6 (shake).

Lou: I cannot do that.
Me : Why not?
Lou: You can only get one food comp per day.

(keep in mind Ive played at HR atleast 5 times a wk since July 1st, so i prob have over $100 in comp dollars on the card)

Me: Why is that? I want to use it at 2 different food places and one comp will not work for that as you know....

Lou: Here's your card back. Call for me back when you decide what you want to do.

Me: Are you being serious right now?

Lou: Yes. I dont have time to waste on this.

Me: Wow. All i asked you was a simple question. I didnt make your guys food comp system, which is bad, and there is no reason for you to give me attitude up here.

Lou: I'm not giving you any attitude, I wasnt going to say anything but I feel like you are the one giving me attitude here.

Me: Whatever, give me a $10 food voucher.

Great customer service HR. I asked a simple question for a valid reason and all you can do is be a dick. Im glad you cant accept tips, bc you would never get any from me.
I'd hate to see this guy have to make an actual floor decision relating to poker...

sorry wasnt even gunna rant about this but you asked :-)

oh yea, and if u happen to read this thread lou, GFY.
