+1, if this guy is the guy i'm thinking of, he's easily one of my favorite dealers at the rock. I usually tip $1/hand on small pots. So i kept throwing him $2 chips and asking him to chop them. He gave me a very convincing thank you for every dollar, so finally i threw him a $2 chip on a smallish pot and didn't say anything. He took it and chopped if for me anyways, just assuming i was tipping $1 again. Obv i throw him both whites and he said thank you very much again. Very fast dealer that keeps the game moving well, and keeps the atmosphere light and funny. A+ and keep up the good work.

Not me relates or really hard rock related but general question about Florida pokker...

Are the games playing much smaller than they should?
Ever table I play at. 1/3. People are buying in for 100 or 150

2/5 people buy in for 300.... Is this norma in Florida ?

What about else where? People look at me like I'm insane sitting with 300 in a 1/3 game

I heard them trying to fill open seats on a 2/5plo game. I dont know how short it was or if they were trying to get it up and running.

621-1302 is operator or dial 0 for operator then ask for poker room. you will get the brush stand in the back corner.

They had some serious issues getting people on the list last night. I got there about 7:30 and there was, NO JOKING, at least 60 people IN LINE waiting to get on the list. I got a brush to put me on the list and got seated pretty quickly. They HAVE to do something about this.

Yea, too many people asking a million questions and taking 3 min. To help per person.

The thing is, the system has the ability for patrons with HR Rewards cards to do self check-in. If they had only people WITHOUT cards go to the brush stand for check-in, problem solved. Also the display could display WHAT table to go to without having to go to the brush stand for table assignments once called.

They could do so much better. Also the dealers getting fills is still problematic and the cage is always short staffed, especially after midnight.

I did pretty good last night on 2/5 despite getting coolered by 88 with AQ on an 8QQ flop late in the night.

I was there last night. They had an older lady trying to manage the list and hand out seat assignments as they came up, and she was very disorganized with it. Sent me to a full table before getting it right.

Completely agree with the cluster f at the front desk pretty much every time. People sometimes don't see there is a line and just walk up and that causes confusion, and to boot they bounce back and forth between which station is taking names.

Also, to see the list, you have to walk to the far end of the front of the room. Why not have a big screen right there where everyobdy gathers?

Of all the places I've played in Florida and elsewhere, the Tampa room signup and seating is by far the worst. By far.

I was there last night too and there was a line even at midnight. It was about a dozen people but it moved like a snail, like literally 2 min per person. After about 10 mins, I got rescued by an employee who grabbed two of us out of line to fill a 2/5 game. I don't know how that happened but it's good to see some staff members taking matters into their own hands.
