Flop J108.
Sb checks, BB bets 1/2 pot, next to act calls, I raise about pot, fold to BB, he and other player call.
turn: J.
BB open folds (gotta love live poker). Next shoves for about 2/3 pot, I snap of course. He turns over 77. lol.
Let's see my outs: 3 kings, 3 queens, 3 tens, any ace, any 9, 6 remaining diamonds. (Or to make it look sexy: K,K,K,Q,Q, Q,10,10,10,A, A,A,9,9,9, A, 9,86,5, 4, 3,2)
Yes, the full blown 23 outs (if I counted correctly). I wiff them all. Now THAT takes a special sort of talent
I played a hand amazingly similar to this last night. I forgot what the exact betting amounts were, but I raised preflop with K
Q
and 2 players called. The flop was J
T
8
. A short stack gets it all in, I raise, the other callers ships, I call. The other guy involved in the big side pot had 7
5
and hits on a 5 on the river to scoop. Other guy had A9
That's how the pros do it.
